PAY ATTENTION TO CONNECTOR LOCATION. This one sticks upwards (instead of straight back) & can hit the intake manifold - if you don't realize it. Don't go by "does it fit" - they don't know about this. Mine also charges TOO HIGH (18+ Volts). I can't use it because it makes my electronics freak out!

Very easy to install from above on my F150. I drove it today for three hours and no problem at all, it seems to work well. My dash battery light went off. Luckily I had ordered two new idler belt pulley wheels, one bearing was grinding when I spun it, those were easy also to replace. Use long breaker bar on belt tensioner (Right to release) and slide belt off the alternator from the top. It comes with a ground wire which I haven’t added yet, I didn’t see where it was supposed to go on the alternator case, I’ll loosen a bolt later for the alt and wind the wire around the bolt and back to the fender behind the passenger side wheel well, there is already one there for the truck anyway. They shipped it fast. The alt bolts are 10mm and the wheel bolts I think were 12mm. I did remove my battery and charge it for two hrs before I installed again. It was a dead new battery I got there when I was stuck at wal mart and hadto get home and it drained it bad since the old alternator was shot. I hope this info helps someone. Fast shipping, packaging was not very good the box looked like it had been thrown around and was ripped so the alt had been thrown around inside box with only a little paper around it to secure it. I was surprised it still worked.

The alternator was as described, had decent instructions and other technical information that would be useful to a mechanic. The fit was perfect on my 2010 F150 Platinum. UPS was a fail on the advertised delivery date but the product has worked flawlessly since installation a few weeks ago. So much cheaper than the offerings through local Oreillys and Auto Zone.

This went in on my 2011 F150 and I was a little skeptical initially to buy being that is was half the price of alternator from auto parts stores. I checked all of them and they were all similar in price. I took a chance on this and it has been great! Going on now 2 months in and ZERO issues. I waited to leave feedback until I ran it for a good few weeks and I have been very happy with the alternator. Mechanic who installed also said it looked and performs very well. Thank you!
