Product was easy to order, got here a few days early🤗 . The quality of storage box was good, the lid is riveted on and not welded but looks like it will hold up ok. Now the not so good, the latch looks nice but weak on the inside. It was slightly misaligned and when closed if you taped on outside of box it would pop open. The way it's designed there is no way to adjust. I had to fabricate the latch part on the inside to get it to work. My second complaint is the lid although spring loaded does not open up very wide, I ended up just removing the shock or spring and using a bungee to hold it open. It is a nice box otherwise.

Lid only opens to a 45 degree angle so you can’t utilize putting anything big in the box. Lid isn’t mounted parallel with the back of the box so it looks crooked sitting on the trailer. Front two corners have small holes in them. (See photos) No point in sealing up the lid if there’s holes in the front that will let the weather in while driving. Thought I was getting a good deal on this box but there’s no quality to it. Don’t buy it.

Not bad for price. Was hoping it would be alittle more heavy duty. But it was cheaper then tractor supply. Has a hard time latching the lock but dremeled it and works much better! Overall not bad for price!

Good quality and easy to install. I looked at many products and this looked best for the money. The gas shock is a great bonus.

Item was as advertised, shipped quickly and arrived unscathed. Not extremely sturdy but I did not purchase it for commercial use, just to mount on the tongue of my new trailer to hold my tie downs, straps, chains etc. Should do the job well.

This box was specced with the improper lid gas strut. It is too short, not allowing the lid to open all the way. After replacing the strut with a longer one, it opens as it should, part number is attached. Had to replace both ball mounts, and the strut to make it work.The rivets holding the piano hinge to the box are also loose, & one is broken. Not a big issue, I can re-rivet the hinge, or replace it with nuts & bolts to secure. But, that's a quality control issue. Other than those issues, the box is pretty good for the price

Be careful with your trailer when you install. With mine, I had to off-set install about an inch from center so the crank arm on the swing-away tongue stand would clear the side of the box. It's light weight, but decently made.

This box seems to be pretty well built. It has been handy for straps chains and blocks. Keeps stuff close and dry.
