Liberated a critical rounded/stuck bolt on my 20 yr old rusty CRV. It worked surprisingly well. I wish I has this set years ago! Better late than never.

Works great. I used these for a couple 2500 gmc truck security lugs that where stuck on and broke in half, they took the broken lugs off with no problem.Good price, quality tools.

My Jeep got new tires not many miles ago and had the factory junk beauty cap lug nuts. I was taking wheel off to do a brake job and of course 1 out of 20 lugs decided to fail and the cap popped off. Now the slightly undersized nut that remained began to round off. I bought this lug removal tool set for $12. Went ahead and purchased a set of quality Dorman chrome lug nuts for $10. The tool worked perfectly. For $12 I just hoped the tool would last long enough for 1 lug. I was impressed! I hit the tool with a sledgehammer and after the lug was removed easy peasy I inspected the tool for damage but it looked perfect. Obviously there is evidence of contact witness marks but that's it. As I type this I'm thinking I'll keep the set in my boat just incase of trailer wheel trouble. Money well spent.

I had worn out wheel nuts, i went to the gas station (autocare), they wanted to charge me 97 aedi decided to buy this tool instead, I managed to take the nuts off in 3 mins, (however u must use a hammer to pudh the nut remover all way in around the wheel nut)

These will work as long as you can get the socket over the head of the bolt. But they are pretty soft metal. 3 stars because they will work a few times.

I’ve had the same set of aftermarket wheels, lug nuts and locks on my truck truck since 2004. Ive always taken the wheels off and polished them inside and out every other month. About 6 months ago I lost the key for the locks. I took it to a shop but they said it would probably damage the wheel. When I bought the wheels everything came as a set. Wheels, lug nuts, locks, key, and a very thin walled hardened socket because the clearance was so tight. I was pretty concerned I was never going to get the wheels off again. I had purchased 2 other kits and if the tool was small enough to fit in the lug nut hole it was to small to fit over the lug nut. Went to a parts store and tried everything they had to offer and nothing worked.I found these and thought I would give them a try. They just looked different than what I had tried. This worked as easy as if I had the key. I had all 4 locks off in 2 minutes and they really didn’t even damage the locks. Worked so much better than I was expecting. Not putting locks back on because I don’t want to go through that again and the truck lives locked up in the garage 95% of its life. A tool you may hopefully only need once but one you can’t live without if you loose your wheel key.

I mistakenly used the wrong torque specs to torque the strut bar tower in my car and once I needed to remove the the bar to install some engine parts, I stripped the one of the nuts holding the bar. This is when this extractor came in handy and saved me a trip to the mechanic shop. It took me less than a minute to take the stripped nut out and put a new one in; what's batter is that the teeth on this extractor didn't show any wear marks at all.
