It's smaller than I thought but seems sturdy enough for the purpose--sitting down to put on socks and shoes. I weigh 145, and I'm not sure I'd put much more weight on it than that. It does look nice.

This is absolutely amazing! It’s comfortable, not super expensive, and the perfect height for my vanity. I ordered one almost identical from another shop, but quickly found out the wood was way too dark (almost black), so I ordered this one from this shop, and it is the perfect brown!
