This face of this mount comes covered in a hideous yellow eggshell sticker, so don't expect it to look like the photos. Makes it look like a tacky piece of junk on my otherwise nice-looking dump truck. After an hour of fighting it, I've only managed to pick half of the sticker off so far, and that area still looks awful because of the adhesive residue. I'd have spent the extra ten bucks for the other brand I looked at if I'd known this thing would be so unnecessarily ugly

I use these in the horizontal position(opening on the top) on the side of a small dump truck. They work great for shovels and push brooms (bristles facing away) or similar that the handle doesn't sit flat against the side of the truck. Example of what they don't work too good for is an ice chopper/scraper. Even with it's fat handle it still slides. For shovels though they work great. Spring is strong enough to bend my broom handle to hold it tight.

Mounted on the back of my truck to hold my shovel. Very secure and in my opinion better than the popular rubber holders.

Bolted it to the top of the wheel well in my truck & it holds a shovel well.Sticker is stuck on way to well & a HUGE pain to peel off. Make that scrape off, it won't peel off. I spray painted mine black to match the truck bed.

I purchased this to hold my grease gun even though they describe it to be for shovels, it works great to hold my gun on the back of my metal walk-in door, this is my third one and this is the cheapest price I have found.
