I’ve been cycling through all kinds of lumbar pillows trying to get some relief from sciatica flare-ups when I’m sitting for long stretches. This one? It does an okay job. Not perfect, but better than most. For the price and what it is, I’d say it’s a fair improvement over nothing.The gel memory foam has a nice balance - cushiony without feeling like it’s flattening out after a half hour. It supports the lower back enough to keep me from slouching into those pain-triggering positions, especially when I’m reading or working on my laptop. I use it on a recliner, but I’ve also tried it on our camper bench seat and even a folding chair outside. It’s definitely portable and versatile.That said, it’s not a magic fix. If you’re expecting total pain relief just from this pillow, probably temper those expectations. It helps improve posture and eases the pressure on my lower back a bit, which adds up over the course of a day - but it’s not the kind of thing where I sat down and suddenly felt brand new. More like, “Hey, I’m not wincing every time I stand up now,” which is a win in my book.The cover’s soft and removable, so that’s a plus for keeping it clean, especially in dusty RV life. Shape-wise, it stays in place decently, though it can slide a bit if you’re fidgety.Bottom line: it’s not going to change your life, but it might make sitting through it a little more comfortable.

I ordered the Givanlee Lumbar Support Pillow for my mother who has back issues and needs extra support for her back. The 15.7 inch high by 19 inch long pillow is large enough to fit in a recliner or large chair and is also curved to provide proper lumbar support. The pillow has a soft grey velvet cover with a zipper that removes for washing. The cover has a thick elastic adjustable strap with a plastic buckle for holding the pillow in place. Additionally, underneath the cover, the pillow is also covered with a white, non-removable cover that feels like it is made out of cotton. The pillow is a medium density foam with approximately an inch of memory foam wrapped around the front portion of the pillow.Overall, the pillow is soft with good lumbar support. The strap is nice and thick and the release buckle is large and easy to operate. I like the fact the cover is washable and that it has a strip of soft memory foam. Five stars.

The lumbar support setup was ease and provides good support to the lower back. The thickness at the bottom is quite substantial which required me to slide my lower base of my chair a the furthest end. Some chairs may not have this option so do consider this prior to purchase.The belt to lock the lumbar support with the back of your chair helps it to stay in place and not worry of it falling off. The quick locking clip helps me to remove and take it with me when I move to a different seating when not working at my desk. The gel support is quite good and stays firm over longer duration of time.Overall I have noticed a positive benefit on my lower back and happy with this item as it addresses the intended purpose it was procured for.

I’m always looking for lumbar support for my chair or my couch. I probably have at least five of this type or something similar. Well, this is definitely not the greatest lumbar support pillow. It does offer support. I put this in my recliner and sat down and it provided extremely good support for probably the first 30 minutes or so. But once the pillow got warm, it started to compress a little and the support wasn’t there. Having said that a pill is still probably one of the best that I’ve gotten in a while.

I had high hopes for this pillow to help with my sciatica while working at my desk, but it just didn’t work out. The pillow is really deep, and honestly, there’s barely any room for my butt on the chair! I was hoping for something that would provide support without taking up so much space. The design and materials seem nice though — the memory foam is comfy, and the cover is soft and washable. It’s probably better suited for a recliner, but my search for a good desk chair pillow continues!

I very seldom give reviews. If you are looking for a lumbar support pillow, this is the one. At least, it is for me. I had two different chair cushions I was using in my recliner which weren’t working. I love this lumbar support pillow and am sorry I hadn’t purchased years ago. Yes, I would purchase again in a heartbeat.

I have I'm a plus sized woman with short legs, no buttocks to speak of and a bad back. I've been using a seat cushion for years at work and on my sofa at home. In order to keep my back painless I need to use a lumbar support pillow. The one I currently had was intended to strap to a chair; I had to strap it to a pillow and then put something into the crack of the sofa and under it to lift it up to the small of my back. This required constant adjustments. A real pain, literally. When I saw this lumbar support cushion available as a free promotional I ordered it. It arrived compressed which confused me a bit but it popped into shape as soon as it was exposed to some air. To try it out, I took everything off the back of the sofa except the pillow that keeps my back from having to curve to lean back and then put the new lumbar pillow in place. FABULOUS! I did put the straps around the pillow to keep it in place but no more having to try to keep it lifted to fit my back. The pillow is soft but not so soft it doesn't give good support. It has a washable cover and I put it behind a throw over the back of the couch to help keep it clean and keep my cat from noticing it. He has a thing for cushions and will chew holes in it :( Nice pillow and I hope it lasts a long time.
