This bike bag was exactly what I expected based on its pictures and measurements. The saddle bags aren't particularly deep but are still quite useful. The Velcro straps could have been a little longer. All in all, a good value for the money.

Overall it's a nice bag and I really appreciated the fold out bags that give a spot to put my U-lock and cable. My only "complaint" is the front velcro straps on the under side of the bag are a bit short and make it hard to prevent sliding around on the rack. Minor issue, but something to consider for next design review.

The only thing I disliked was that it was missing the shoulder strap but I've requested it to be sent.I love the foldaway panniers which will be handy for smaller runs to the grocery store and for bulkier clothing. As others have said, the velcro straps are so long that it's better to criss-cross them. The outside pocket is long enough to hold a smaller bike pump. I haven't yet ridden with it on a bumpy road but it seems like the water bottle holder is quite secure. It's a little bulkier than most but it holds its shape very well. The rain cover looks like it is easy to use. It's a nice touch to be able to clip on a small flashing rear light. The interior is well padded with 2 optional section dividers.

I purchased this thinking it was only a trunk bag. Nope, the side pockets reveal fold down panniers for that unexpected ride to the store before stopping home. Because I'm old and slow, I try to ride with little weight and air resistance, so the panniers stay folded up, but its nice knowing they are there (even if they do take up some space in the side pocket and add a few ounces). Haven't really ridden in heavy rain, but some light sprinkles and ground wetness caused no soak through, likewise my spilled coffee on top did not soak through. The Velcro straps on the bottom is clunky/slow, but effective and replaceable! So, pretty decent for $35.

This is a good bag in general. The two side compartments add additional carrying capacity. What is lacking are better straps under the bag to hold the bag to the rack. Also, the straps that hold the bag to the rack need a quick release buckle so it's easy to grab the bag and go. What you have are two short Velcro straps that don't hold the bag well to the rack. The if you use the side bags the bag will fall to the side if not balanced well. The under bag straps are almost useless to hold the bag in place. Longer under bag straps would work better if you could pull the straps down through the rack frame and back up to secure along side the bag. Unfortunately the side bag compartments won't allow for that. You guys need to figure out a better and more conveniently method for attaching the bag to a rear rack.

This is a great bike bag. It is large and well-designed, except for the straps that attach the bag to the bike carrier. They are too short. I have two bikes with carriers and was not able to attach the bag to either. When this bag is improved with longer attachment straps it will be awesome.

We looked at other bags for $69 and $79 and decided to give these a try; so glad we did! Although the Amazon listing does not have some of this info, we can now share it since we got our bags. Just the right size: not too big that they throw the bike balance off, but big enough to store enough for an outting, like water, lunch, rain coat, flat-tire changing tools (including a larger air pump), phone, coat and energy bars!PROS:1. Expandable panniers on both sides drop 12 inches.2. Large and stylish reflective stripes.3. Expanding top lid adds ~20% to overall storage.4. Water bottle holder that doesn't take up internal storage.5. Top-carrying handle or shoulder strap allows you to take the bag with you off-bike.6. Two across-the-bottom hook & loop mounting straps, in addition to 2 straps under the front securely hold the bag to our back racks.7. Made with 300 denier inside-coated ballistic nylon (or polyester) creates a strong, secure bag that pretty much holds it's shape when empty.CONS:1. Use of 4 straps to secure bags to bikes also makes them cumbersome to get off when we want to take the bags with us. I will may add plastic snaps to my straps (and cover the "velcro" sections) to make them easier to remove.2. Hook-and-loop ("velcro") closures while secure, loose their holding power with repeated unfastenings.3. No "velcro"-held dividers for inside the main compartment.SUMMARY --A well-constructed bag for day-outtings, with room for a small picnic blanket and coat. Nice attention to detail and use of sturdy, strong fabric which holds it's shape was a strong selling point for us. Since shipping is presently from the seller via USPS, we opted for the $3.95 2-day shipping.
