Low voltage are super simple to install so when I connected this one and it didn't work, I was a little puzzled. Started tracing wires with a voltmeter only to find I had good power all of the way to the fixture. Opened the fixture back up which is somewhat of a pain when freshly buried due to dirt getting in the threads. I thought I may not have completely seated the bulb but no it was in properly. Fortunately, I had a few extra bulbs to test with and found that the included bulb simply did not work. Installed the new bulb and buttoned everything back up and it was good to go. The fixture looks nice and seems to be well made.

Landscape lighting has several choices for the types of bulbs...Integrated (not replaceable)MR16 is small (replaceable)PAR36 Bulb is large (replaceable)This light is larger than it looks. Notice the product description shows the top as being almost 4.9" wide. It is not a small cheap light with an integrated bulb, even though it looks like those kind at first glance. The bulb (MR16) is accessed and changed from above, so there should never be a need to dig up this light, except for a full replacement. The quality of this light is very high, and the lead wire is 6 ft long. All three listed below are from a different brand, but appear to be identical (made in same factory), and of exceptional quality with the same brightness as all use MR16 bulbs, but the one with the open top will give the perception of being brighter because it will light up the surrounding landscape. There are other similar light to the LumStory from Gardenreet and have a variety of tops at 4.9", and also bult like a tank on the same base....These lights are built like a tank can be directly placed in fresh cement. Some of the videos claim, the base of these are metal, that is not correct. The top is metal, but the base is VERY strong plastic, which is a good thing and allows direct contact with concrete. In reality, what I call "the tank" is a driveway / walkway light, but is less expensive than the equivalent direct bury lights made by Gardenreet. To install these well lights, I recommend to dig a small hole about 1' deep (post hole digger...) and make a below grade cement column to hold the driveway light in place, even if you use it in rock landscaping. Use a 90 degree 3/4" PVC electrical conduit to protect the wire from the concrete. That installation should last for a long time, and prevent the light from moving if someone steps on it. It is a much more permanent installation, and will require chiseling if it needs to be removed, but will not give you problems ever in the future. The bulb will still be easily changed. As of this review, the LumStory are brass colored, and the Gardenreet are bronze color. The LumStory are also $7 less expensive, but have much fewer tops available.PROs:+ Excellent design+ Quality materials+ Rugged+ Longevity+ Replaceable bulbCONs:- Price- 2700K bulb included, I prefer 5000K
