Ironically I don’t eat pork anymore, but this slicer is great! Will use for bananas ☺️

Didn't cut through what I wanted to slice and then it totally fell apart

I was hoping that this slicer would be able to slice tomatoes. My wife has a neuropathy that affects her hands and she often cuts her fingers while slicing things. Although this slicer is perfect for luncheon meats and certain vegetables, it won't cut a tomato. However, I like it, and it was a good buy.

This is my Spam slicer. Either you love Spam or hate Spam. I did not grow up eating Spam. It is NOT a "mystery" meat. Anyway, always just sliced it with a knife. Using this slicer in much easier. All the slices (except for the ends) are equally thick. Cut it once and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Does not do well with "blocks" of hard cheeses. Glad I finally bought it.

My old egg slicer was old purchased with Green Stamps in the early 80s. Sadly, it broke and it was time to replace it. This slicer is a big boy and can slice eggs and a whole lot more. So far, I've used it for eggs, Spam, cheese and cream cheese, green and black olives, cantaloupe, and honeydew melon. It is sturdy and large enough to handle most softer foods. It is dishwasher safe and doesn't have any hard to clean tiny crevices. The only real downside is that it doesn't easily fit into a standard kitchen drawer when it's not being used. I've resorted to storing it in the pantry.

I eat a lot of spam and this slices it to perfection every time. I wash it in the dishwasher.

Works like a charm (at least with Spam). I can’t speak to sturdiness because I haven’t had it long enough. Easy to clean.

First of all, this needs to be all metal.Second and possibly more importantly, being all metal, the cutter needs to be permanently affixed to the base.As is, this metal cutter keeps coming apart from the cheap plastic base when applying pressure to cut the lunch meat.I hate to recommend this cutter, but for what it does; it’s OK
