I ordered two of these because I want to cover my old mattress until I get them replaced. This is very thin material. I don’t feel the cooling effect. It’s functional and cover the old mattress. It does what its designed to do but don’t expect more like fluffy cushiony top. This is not.

This is a great product for the price. Washes great, and never leaks through. This was actually what I was looking for. And I can tell you this worked great because my it was raining hard outspxe and i was cooking and my sweetheart of a pit/lab (Rufus) decides to pee on my bed, I was so mad but the cover caught all of it and never went to my mattress and it was so much, washed the pad and it was so clean no stains would recommend this product and I'm now buying one for the rest of the beds in the house incase we have any other accidents again

Fits well. It is waterproof and hasn't leaked yet, but in my experience this type of cover will eventually soak through with enough liquid and time. Just plan to strip the bed if there's enough of a spill. This cover will give you time to clean up without getting the mattress wet. Looks okay although I don't like the pattern, but it's not like I'm not putting sheets over it. The pattern will show through a white sheet. It doesn't have a smell and is not very thick. It does still make some noise, but not as much as some I've used. Great buy for the price.
