Overall this is a nice weighted blanket. The weight and size is good for the kids and they enjoy it. I like that the cover is washable which isn't something weighted blankets we've had in the past have featured. The rainbow color is nice and the whole blanket is well made. Loses a star because the material isn't quite what I would call soft or comfy. It's not uncomfortable but not what I would be reaching for personally. Otherwise I think it's a good weighted blanket for kids.

Nice blanket. It came nicely boxed and folded. The weight was just enough and not too much for my 7 year old. He loved snuggling up with anytime of the day. The color is very pretty. One side has rainbow colors and the other side has a mint green. The blanket is great for bedtime. It's also small enough to use for car rides. I think it's a great blanket.

This weighted blanket is perfect for kids. It's not too heavy, but heavy enough to provide gentle pressure to create that relaxing hug feeling. My eight-year-old daughter has been using this blanket for several months now and I have washed the removeable duvet quite a few times. It always washes up well, dries nicely, and is incredibly soft. Putting the duvet back on is easy and I appreciate the ties for securing it back onto the weighted insert. I really love that this is two pieces - the duvet and the weighted insert. So many are one piece and it makes it terribly difficult to clean when you have to put a weighted blanket in the wash and dryer. Being able to just wash the duvet is spectacular.The fabric is soft and the construction of the weighted insert and duvet is great. The seams are straight, sewn well, and should last.

We got this for our daughter and it has very quickly become her absolute favorite blanket. Its soft and the colors are absolutely beautiful but we expected it to have more of a weight, but there was no weight listed so we did go in a bit blind. Its a fairly nice weight for a toddler and is big enough to wrap around her body like she's a burrito which is her favorite thing for a blanket. She also like to take it around the house with her. Overall not bad.

This weighted blanket feels like a duvet cover with weights in it. It is very thin and light, except for where the weights are inside.I like that the cover is removable so you can wash it, but you can’t throw the whole blanket in the wash if something gets spilled on it. The rainbow ombré cover is beautiful, it isn’t super bright or vivid, but not quite pastel colors either. On the reverse side, it’s a solid turquoise color which is also nice to look at.I wish the blanket was thicker and warmer, but this will be nice to have for warmer weather when I still want the weight but not the warmth.

I've heard that weighted blankets help calm people who may be anxious or having trouble sleeping so I ordered this one to give it a try. What I can tell you is that, for whatever reason, this blanket is amazing and the little bit of weight on your body helps to make you feel so safe and secure. I love it. It could be all in my head, but that's okay with me because I love the feeling and comfort of it. The colors are really pretty too. It does say for kids so it's not super large and wouldn't cover an entire queen- or king-sized bed but I use it just over myself as I lay on the couch or bed to rest.

We have several weighted blankets, so I was intrigued by one marketed for children.Unfortunately, I found this Lush Decor weighted blanket to be sub par.The appearance of the ombre rainbow cover is neat and pretty. However, I found the cover to be cheap with poor stitching. It is thin polyester and has a silky feel. The zipper is nice and sturdy.The weighted insert is really soft and the weight/filling is dispersed evenly. It seems to be decent quality.The advertised description doesn't give a weight in pounds, which is unusual, especially since they recommend choosing a weighted blanket that is only a percentage of your child’s body weight.Instead, the weight is in ounces and printed on the inserts tag. It was 9.6 oz, which converted is 6 pounds. This seems to be a decent weight for a toddler or kid. The size of the blanket fit our daughter’s twin size bed.Overall, there are some nice aspects of this Lush Decor kid’s weighted blanket, but not enough to warrant it being $100.A higher quality duvet cover and more information for the consumer would be beneficial.
