Good quality, use a number 2 pencil, years of hot FL sun and rain, they're still in my pots. I always come back to this particular brand.

I usually use the longer ones for the garden but I can't use them for starting seedlings. I make small pressed paper pots to start seedlings and these are the perfect size for those little pots so I can keep track of what I planted in each pot.

I really like these labels: long-lasting, sturdy, good size for small pots, etc. My issue is that Stupid Amazon does not provide any mechanism for me to report that along with these labels and another purchase in the same order SHIPPED BY AMAZON, I was sent some sort of extra object that I did not order. I.e., if the problem with an order is that you were sent an extraneous thing -- meaning that somebody else may not have been sent the thing, which he ordered -- there is not an appropriate box to check for this problem. If anybody knows how to report this to Amazon, please advise.

I needed to replace my tags for my orchids and these work great. Sturdy and I can write and erase with a pencil. Just what I was looking for.

I'm done with the cheapo tags. I'm buying these from now on and nothing else. The others are too slick to write on, too short, holes too small, or they snap after a year in the elements, and I'm left scratching my head and trying to remember what the heck that plant is. I haven't had one of these fail yet. They're still pliant after years of exposure and easy to read. I can get a TON of information on one label, and writing with a #1 lead pencil keeps the writing legible for many years. That's right: a number 1 soft lead pencil lasts long after markers fade. I've been able to erase (pencil) off these and reuse them for multiple years. They're short enough that they fit under the dome on my ferry Morse 72 cell seed trays and the pencil markings stay clear and easy to read (even after a winter in the ground). Very happy with them!

They do exactly what they're made to do. Enough space to write on, and long enough to stick out of the earth when inserted in trays or cups.

I find that these withstand the weather quite well. I use a grease pencil to write the names, and it doesn't come off, although it might fade a little bit. However, I will say that although I usually find the best deals on Amazon, I did check a local nursery and they had these exact same labels at almost half the price. So I was disappointed that I bothered to order them at Amazon. Next time I need them I will buy them locally.
