I bought this product and liked it so much I bought more. I like it so much better than string to tie plants to trellises or cages. It doesn’t deteriorate like regular string does. When the plants die in the fall, I take it off and reuse it again the next year.

This is my second 100’ roll, last one lasted about a year in both indoor and outdoor garden.Absolutely the best tie down for garden use. The string is soft and easy on plant stems as they grow. Actual cotton string can cut into stems but this doesn’t. Also much better than wire filled green ties.I first bought the wire filled version of this product and used it for about a year. It was fine. But then when I ran out I accidentally bought this “soft” version and almost returned it. Boy am I glad I didn’t!The soft green tie is so versatile. I’ve used it to simply tie down plant branches to other structures, as well as using it for a flexible trellis outdoor for some vining plants. I’ve also cut it down at the end of a grow and found that it’s actually reusable. It’s great stuff!

This year I was short a couple of big square tomato cages. Decided to try using this tie to “make” cages by not placing cages next to each other, leaving an open cage space between cages, then weaving tie between two cages, creating a side. This has worked very well. This tie material is soft and a little stretchy, making it easy to tuck those fast growing tomato branches in place without rubbing and damaging plants. Ties easily also. Prefer to tape, wire or string ties. Easy to pull out of middle, like skein of yarn.

The happy green color blends into one’s garden nicely. This cord has some stretch, is easy on small vines yet strong enough to stake my 24 tree roses, & a handy item for multiple garden shed uses.

This stuff is great. I put binder clips on my plant pots and tie the plant down to them for low stress training. These are flexible but if installed properly it will actually support the plants and move with them over time. I bought two and the pieces are reusable unless you stretch them or tie them very tightly.I ordered one and my housemate like it so much she ordered two from here as well. unfortunately, one of those were basically useless. We counted 10 sections that were cut and tied together so tightly that most of the product was useless for tying plants. It was literally in 14"-25" sections tied together with about 10' of usable product at the beginning. The product is 5/5 for sure. Great price and almost every piece will get reused next year. The quality is 3/5 for sending trash bits in place of one of the three orders.I'd recommend this product for anyone trying to get bigger fruits on their plants. The extra strength from tying the branches down will trick the plant into thinking it has a bigger stalk and is strong enough to support bigger fruit.
