I recently used an umbrella hat while photographing a wedding, and it was a game-changer! The weather was unpredictable, with light rain showers on and off throughout the day. This umbrella hat not only kept me dry but also protected my camera equipment from getting wet, which was a huge relief. What surprised me most was how unobtrusive it was. I was able to move around and capture all the important moments without it getting in the way. It’s lightweight, easy to wear, and stayed securely in place. This simple accessory turned out to be indispensable, allowing me to focus on my work without worrying about the weather. Highly recommend it for any outdoor photographer!

works great for the work I do outside when it's raining, leaves my hands free. Looks a lit silly, but so functional that others want to get one too lol.it feels a bit flimsy, not sure how long it will last, but hey, it's $20.got this one because it looks wider than some others.does the job

I bought this for birdwatching so I could be hands free and not constantly be wiping rain off my glasses, binos and worring about the camera getting wet. I just returned from a trip where I had a day of solid, moderate rain and this umbrella saved my day. I was birding a full 8 hours and enjoyed every minute despite the weather. I got lots of photos for ID purposes and also a number of envious glances and comments about my clever attire! It's very easy to deploy and pack once you do it a few times and packs up fairly small and is very light. I found it fairly secure and comfortable on my head. It can be worn over a hat if you prefer. The only thing to note is that like all umbrellas it's not great in a moderate wind. The camo colour is great for not scaring the birds. Highly recommend!

Bought 2, 1 arrived broken and not even in packaging. The working one barely works - like an umbrella on its last leg. Once on, it’s not comfortable. Also too big, can’t wear near anyone. Not good for active or windy activities either. I like the idea but this is a use once and throw it away product.

Ordered this for a white elephant gag. Got lots of laughs, but it wouldn't pass as something sturdy or something that would stay on the head.

I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews, but I’m glad that I bought this. It has an adjustable head band which is comfy. It folds up like a regular mini umbrella. It has wind flaps for windy days and a string that can go under your chin. I gave it only four stars because I haven’t tried it out on one of my walks nor on a rainy day.

I was the only one with both hands in my pockets on a freezing day at a soccer game not getting wet. Who's laughing now soccer mom! ... Also the only guy floating down the river who has two hands to fish without getting wet ! Would purchase again in a second!

The part that sits on your head is an awkward rubber folding thing, super uncomfortable, and the width of the umbrella top is too big to comfortably walk thru doors. Returned.

As a pro videographer I needed this so when I film in the rain I can keep my hands free to adjust my very complicated camera. I tried holding an umbrella but it drove me nuts. I got so cranky I swore in front of an elderly lady. She didn't react, oldies often don't. Now when I wear this people tease me but I don't care because I can get lost in the art I produce. The best thing is it's camo so people don't notice how stupid you look wearing it. I wish I had 2 heads just so I could buy a second one. I love it that much.

The umbrella was as displayed on amazon however the band that goes on your hear is plastic and has the supports in it making it a bit uncomfortable to wear for any period. I have a large head and it did fit so that was okay. It is also stable on your head. I bought it for using my camera in the rain so I have 2 hands free and it does that well as it is quite large.

Originally purchased as a rain/snow guard for humming bird feeder; but found my cat under it when it was on the floor, so I now use it as a sun guard over her cat condo when she is outside. Poles to hold umbrella up are just items I already had on hand. The white pipe going into ground is a hollow piece of irrigation pcv pipe, the orange pole going into the pvc is a snow stake pole. I cut a round hole in middle of a rubber furniture foot protector pad which sits on edge of the pvc pipe, the small hole cut in middle since rubber keeps snow pole from sliding down, as long as you cut the hole snug. There is a center hole in the underside of the umbrella that the top of the snow pole slides into perfectly and holds it in place.
