I am refinishing an older piece of furniture, and needed to use chemicals to remove the old varnish, the gloves were easy to use, my hand dexterity wasn't hampered, nice fitting gloves.

These totally met and actually even exceeded my expectations! I like the 6 mil medium thickness, it's a good compromise of durability and affordability. I don't like to waste the thick ones on short less demanding jobs. But these 6 mil hold up to fairly demanding dirty & greasy jobs. These ones in particularly hold up pretty well to automotive mechanical work. I snagged several times and didn't rip, the ones I get from harbor freight typically rip during those circumstances, even the thick ones. So thus far I am pleased with the durability of these. The large size fits just like I expected based on what I've used from other brands. Work gloves and leather gloves I typically order size XL (mostly because my thumb - wrist area is difficult to get through the wrist of most of those), but with nitrile, I get the large because I like a snug fit on my fingers for dexterity, and it easily stretches through the wrist! So far, I'm liking these gloves!

I purchased them by mistake. Best mistake I have ever made.

I finally got a chance to really put these gloves to the test today applying bed liner to the bed of my truck! Bed liner is some really sticky and tough stuff, and once you get it on something and allow it to cure, it is really difficult if not impossible to get off, so keeping it off your hands is important. As someone who is into wrenching on vehicles, dirt bikes, jet-skis and the like, I am something of a power-user (lol) when it comes to nitrile gloves. Long gone are the days when I would let my hands get covered in chemicals, grease, oils, paints, and who knows what else. These days I take protecting my hands pretty seriously, and I currently have more than one-thousand nitrile gloves in varying thicknesses from 5 mil to 9 mil for tackling jobs. For context, I use the 5 mil gloves for indoor cleaning activities where I don't need a great deal of durability. And when I am wrenching, I will usually use a 7 mil glove, or sometimes the really thick 9 mil gloves. So, today, I was using a brush and roller to apply bed liner, and the job took me a cool four hours in total. I wore the MaKRS 6 mil nitrile gloves the entire time, swapping them out once because I had some bed liner curing on the gloves making the roller and brush stick to them.I worked these gloves pretty hard today, and I am very happy to report that I did not have a single failure, which honestly, surprised me quite a bit. My 7 mil gloves have failed on me with less abuse, so for a 6 mil glove these things did a really good job of holding together. I was very much anticipating a tear in the tip of my finger, where I typically get them in my other gloves, but these never failed. Again, I'm impressed and surprised.I'm scratching my head a bit as to why these gloves performed so well for a 6 mil glove. The only thing that sets these apart from my other gloves is the fitment - for larges, they are a bit on the small side, so they are a bit tighter than the other "large" nitrile gloves I wear. They are very snug on the palms and fingers - no slop/play at all - so dexterity is very good. I would also add that I thought they would end up being uncomfortable due to the snugness, but I became accustomed to them quickly once I started working. Anyway, perhaps that snug fit helps to prevent those finger blowouts I sometime experience with other gloves.Bottom line - very durable gloves that punch above their weight class. They run a little small compared to every other nitrile glove I have worn. As to the cost, which is currently $17, I see these as a reasonable option, but not necessarily a value. Get that price down by say two bucks, and I think you have a five-star glove here.

I thought L would be big enough but they actually fit like a M. No good for me, too small. I’m a big guy, don’t give me an L that’s really an M. Will order XL next and see how that is

First issue, when you pop the dispenser slot, you are greeted with a bagged bunch of gloves. I've never seen this before in all the boxes I've ever bought. It's a bit of a pain, but that's not the big issue.I thought they felt thin for a 6 mil glove. I put my Mitutoyo calipers on them. They measured .0060 alright, but for TWO LAYERS. This is the same as folding a $100 bill in half and saying you have $200. These are 3 mil gloves. As long as you are cool with that, great. They are priced around what 100 3 mil gloves go for. But if you need 6 mil gloves, keep looking.Three stars because they are still useful to me.*A word about my reviews. As we have to pay federal and state income tax on the retail value of our Vine program items, I am very selective about what I review and do a lot of research and comparison before hitting the select button. As a result, I’m happy with the majority of my Vine selections. However, I have been disappointed and have given a number of two and three star reviews. My star rating and comments are true to my actual experience. I really enjoy reviewing items and pointing out things that possibly others missed or a potential purchaser might not think of prior to buying.*

My husband is a mechanic by trade and has used these type of gloves for many years. He normally sticks with the expensive name brand but they were not available so I ordered these for him. I ordered these in his normal size and they fit him well. These gloves are the same sturdy 6mm thickness that he is used to, and he says they are comfortable and easy to work with. The only thing that’s a little odd is the packaging. They came in the same type dispenser box as all other brands, but the gloves were in a plastic bag inside the box. So, you have to remove them from the box, take them out of the bag and then return them to the box. The only problem is that you have to get them back in the box correctly or they won’t dispense well. It’s not a deal breaker but I don’t understand the purpose of the bag.Overall, these are nice quality gloves and he gave them a sold two thumbs up! So, I recommend them.
