The threads stripped off after a couple of oil changes. I actually UNDER-torqued this bolt because 30 lbft feels excessive to me. I also didn't cross-thread the bolt. Do not get this drain bolt. This can ruin your investment. I went back to the OEM drain plug.

Didn’t know at the time that the bolt with magnet is made of aluminum. Would not have ordered. However, it was my mistake for not reading the specs. Order was filled and I’ll keep it for emergency.

For my 2010 Nissan Xterra. It’s always nice to know that there’s products like this. If you want to step up and upgrade.I plan on getting one for my automatic transmission drain plug also.You can use the flat copper washer or the stock compression copper washer. Your choice ?

Fits and torqued to specified 30 ft-lbs. heavy magnet made threading difficult at first because the magnet kept catching metal

It didn't cause any issue, but I worried if it's too deep, because it's noticeably longer than current bolt.I used a wrench to measure the depth and it seems to be fit no problem.Typically the roque of the drain plug should be tightened to 20-25 ft.lb, but it obviously leaked. I had to tighten it for another 1/5 to 1/4 round distance. Now everything works fine.Overall, this is a great purchase.

I thought I was buying a differential drain plug, but this one must just be for oil changes. I'll save it for the next oil change.
