I needed these for my Acadia thunderbolt m.2 enclosure. The enclosure came with a 1mm and .5mm pad but I needed to stack them to get them to touch the cover. I didn’t like that idea. So I got this kit and tested the 2mm which was too thick. I used the 1.5mm which was perfect. Inexpensive and comes in 4 thicknesses.

Works for what was needed came in to different sizes and one has the edge chipped slight off of the pad but was still usable. Fixed my new NVME Wd Black working wonderful.

I used this on my new SSD because the motherboard uses an M2 riser that has a metal cover plate, and I didn't want the SSD to throttle due to overheating. The pads seemed to be a reasonable thickness and were easy enough to install.
