Just the right side forounting fans to a Corsair XR5 360mm radiator. These match the longer screws that typically come with it (one of my radiators were used and didn't have any). Anything shorter just won't bite into the shroud properly.

In the past, I had ordered the anodized aluminum version of this that came with the hardware. I ordered this black version for another project and never gave too much thought to the required hardware. For the section of the hinge that bolts into the end of your 2020 aluminum extrusion, it takes a 6 mm by 9mm head bolt.Normally I never give much thought to the head size of a bolt unless I'm ordering flanged bolts or I will add a washer if I need to increase the distribution area or order a truss head, etc. In this case, anything larger than 9 mm will not fit. I looked for over 30 minutes and could not find a 9 mm head, 6 mm bolt. In every single case the standard is 10 millimeters (or larger) and that's too large. Either you have to manually file the head of a bolt down, or buy a package of these with the included hardware, and they don't come in black! Absolutely maddening after ordering a total of eight of these and then not being able to have any hardware to install them. I ended up having to order the aluminum version just for the bolts and then had to spray paint them black. Disgusted at vendors that make their hardware proprietary.The hinges themselves are just okay. They have a tendency to sag unless you really tighten the center pin a lot, and if you tighten them enough so they don't sag they are very tough to move. Unfortunately, there are not many options for 2020 aluminum extrusion.My advice is to order these with the hardware. Again impossible to find the required bolts for installation as they are proprietary. A project that should have been very simple took over 3 weeks to complete as I had to reorder the hardware separately and then paint the bolts black. I ended up spending twice what I needed to and extra time.And one other option not mentioned is to go to a 5mm Bolt, which would probably have a smaller head, but when I ordered these with the hardware everything was 6 mm. No question 6mm is stronger.I would certainly look into this before ordering without the hardware! Vendor was no help. They said just to return. Not surprising as they are probably just the distributor and not the manufacturer. I ordered other bolts and so forth from this company with no issues. This is a case where the consumer gets stuck as you cannot talk with the manufacturer directly.

I'm using this to attach a few farkles and doo-dads to a roof rack on my truck. It has been less than 30 days. I live in Arizona, it's not wet all the time. Wouuld not recommend for exterior/outdoor use.

The problems i usually find with these cheaper fasteners it that the fit is usually on the loose side and the finish does not last. On this particular fastener I find the head size to be a bit small other than that they are okay and the price is definitely great.

Can't say much about a pack of screws. I just started using them for a few projects and I'm happy to have them. They are well manufactured and the finish on them is uniform across the full package. They are not stainless steel of course, as they are magnetic, they do appear to have a good finish on them though. So far no complaints.

If you're into making, 3D printing, laser etching, etc, you need to have a maker kit handy. Screws, hex tools, measurement instruments, etc. These screw saved me downtime with one of my printers the other day. One of the fan ducts broke and had to be replaced, but the replacement required a longer M3 screw due to its thickness and recess from the face of the where the duct goes. Thankfully I had these in my kit and worked like charm. Color also matches the flame of the printer so it was doubly helpful. In so far as strength and durability, can't complain.
