This is a great way to add a modern safety feature to your bike, which alone is worth the price of admission. Functionally, it works really well, easily detecting objects (cars, trucks, etc.) coming up behind you and giving you lots of warning. Installation is a bit of a pain and is quite involved, best to give yourself an hour or 2 to get it installed and all the wires hid. It comes in a nice, giftable box, which is nice if you wanted to give this as a gift to a rider you know.My only concern / complaint about it, is according to the instructions printed right on the box, "The main unit of this product is not waterproof. If exposed to water, please use an additional waterproof protection." It also states, "The radar of this product is waterproof, but should not be exposed to high pressure water jets for cleaning."Granted, most folks don't ride their motorcycles in the rain, but if you do happen to get caught in the wet stuff, be prepared for possible issues, and you'll have to be really careful pressure washing your bike, if that's how you clean it.Overall, I recommend it, because it's a great add-on safety feature, but I wish they would have gone farther to make the entire setup waterproof. 4 stars.

I wasn’t sure how much a blind spot system would really help on a motorcycle, but after installing this, I’m glad I gave it a shot. It took a bit of patience to install - mostly due to routing the wires cleanly - but once everything was in place, it worked better than I expected. The alerts are clear without being distracting. I get a yellow light when something’s hovering in my blind spot, and a red warning if something’s coming up fast from behind. It’s been especially helpful on highways when cars suddenly appear out of nowhere.I’ve ridden in some rough weather - rain, fog, even some heavy mist - and the system still worked fine. I didn’t notice any weird false positives or missed alerts. The hardware is small and doesn’t mess with the look of the bike, which I really appreciate. It sits out of sight and just does its job in the background. If you ride in busy traffic or just want an extra bit of awareness, this setup adds a layer of safety that I’ve come to rely on. It’s not a replacement for checking your mirrors and turning your head, but it’s a solid backup.

I’m so glad I found the M7 Motorcycle BSD Blind Spot Detection System for my son! This advanced safety gadget offers incredible peace of mind with its 77G millimeter-wave radar technology, which reliably detects vehicles in blind spots and warns the rider in real time. The additional features like Lane Change Assistance (LCA) and Rear Collision Warning (RCW) make it even safer, especially in busy traffic or challenging conditions. It works well in all weather, providing consistent protection whether it’s rain or sun.Installation was fairly straightforward, and the system is compact and unobtrusive on the bike. Knowing my son has this added layer of safety truly makes me feel better about his rides.Overall, this is a top-notch safety device and a must-have for motorcycle riders who prioritize their well-being. I wholeheartedly give it 5 stars!

It alerts me to vehicles in my blind spots. The LCA (Lane Change Assistance) flashes a yellow warning when a fast-approaching car is detected and I can safely time my lane changes. But the installation is a bit complicated and it took me quite some time. And I had to seal components to make it weatherproof. The RCW (Rear Collision Warning) function flashes a red light when a vehicle approaches too quickly from behind but I still do shoulder checks as I consider it a supplemental safety tool.

Excellent. I'm pretty new to riding, and I'm still finding it a little uncomfortable when another vehicle pops out from nowhere and whizzes past me before I even realise it's there. Where I live the roads are pretty rough and a lot of people drive near-silent electric and hybrid vehicles, so I find myself too often peering into my mirrors when I should be looking out for rough surfaces ahead. The M7 blind spot system significantly reduces my apprehension. I'm not gonna say it completely wipes out my fear and allows me to fully focus on the road as I'm still regularly glancing at the indicator, but it's a split second rather than several seconds of scanning my mirrors for approaching traffic. I grew accustomed to the indicator within an hour of installing it. There was virtually no learning curve, and now it feels like an essential feature.I'd recommend this to pretty much any rider. It's easy to install, easy to use, doesn't distract you and can potentially save your life.

This blind-spot detection system works great. The appearance is pretty minimalistic and unobtrusive, so it doesn't interfere with the look of your bike. You'll want to give yourself adequate time to get it installed, but there's not much of a learning curve. The system is pretty foolproof, and I haven't observed any false positives. It's certainly nice to have a bit more situational awareness. Recommended!
