I ordered these connectors for a project that I need to make an inline splice of a wire but I did not want to just use heat shrink and solder the splice as usual. I was looking for better professional looking splice and these are small enough and look much better while holding the wires firmly and making the tight connection so these are waterproof so they seal around the wire nicely. My wire is a power plug for a power adapter that was cut and the exact adapter is no longer available so these will do the trick really well. The inside connections have small screws that tighten the clamps that hold the wires to the terminal pins so stranded wires are not a problem. Unlike some of the others of this style connectors that require you to push the wire into the pin, which stranded wire just collapses and folds over, since those pins are meant for solid core stiff wire. That is where stranded wire does not work in that style but works well in this connector. These are very nice and very small so take care with the super small set screws and Allen wrench. I used a ball point pen to show just how small these are. They are super nice and the quality stands well above the rest. I am very happy with these connectors. I would order these again and will recommend them to others.
