I absolutely love this keyboard! I purchased it back in February 2022. It’s now May 2025 and the keyboard is still working well and holds a charge just fine even after 3+ years of use. Pairing the keyboard to a device is easy and I love how you can connect to 3 different devices with the keyboard. I generally use it with my desktop computer but over the years I have used it was my laptop and mobile devices as well. I have the light pink keyboard and the color pairs really well with the rechargeable pink mouse that is also made by Macally.The keyboard is compact but it’s easy to type on. My only complaint about the keys is the UP and DOWN arrow keys—they’re the smallest on the board. Together they are the size of one of the round keys. You get used to it eventually, but it is easy to hit the wrong arrow button. The keys have a great feel to them and little bit of a sound but it’s fairly quiet.Honestly, it’s a great little keyboard. It’s got a bit of weight to it which is nice when you’re using it with a tablet. It seems to be solidly constructed.My only complaint is that I can never tell how much of a charge the battery has left. I wish there was a battery gage on the keyboard or that the battery level showed up on my computer or tablet, but it doesn’t. If it only had that, it would be perfect. It’s not a major issue, since the keyboard can be used when it’s being charged.All in all though, I love it. The price is fair as well. I’ve purchased Apple keyboards before and those are far more expensive. This one was far cheaper and it seems to have great longevity. I’ve had other bluetooth keyboards but this one has been the best and has lasted the longest. I actually just purchased a second one to use with my tablet. Hopefully that one will be as good as this one.One other thing is that this keyboard is FCC and EC certified. It’s listed on the label on the underside of the keyboard.

I’ve tried many different keyboards but none were quite right. Regarding this keyboard, other reviewers were people who started with typewriters (as did I) and had rave reviews. I agree with them. This is a keyboard for those who are lifelong typists who started out with real typewriters. It’s solid and feels professional. It has some heft to it. It’s about as heavy as an iPad with a case. This has the benefit of keeping the keyboard and iPad from tipping over when the iPad is poked at. I’m writing this review now with the keyboard on my lap and my iPhone in the slot. My iPhone has the Peak Design Everyday case and it fits nicely into the keyboard slot. My iPad has Amazon Supveco Case for iPad 10th Generation 10.9 inch (2022) with Pencil Holder (which looks great when paired with this keyboard). With the case, my iPad likewise nestles nicely into the keyboard slot. It is really easy to swap Bluetooth between devices. When I first took the keyboard out to the box, I admittedly did not like the round keys and heft. But the more I use it, the more pleased I’m with it. The round keys turned out to be a benefit as they’re slightly cupped which allows your fingers to center properly. Your typing accuracy and speed will increase. This keyboard will travel with me. For $40 you can’t go wrong. The keyboard has almost no compromises. Well done Macally!

Typing this out on the keyboard itself.The size is perfect. I feel like I'm using a fullsize keyboard that is extremely portable. I think there are a few buttons I wish I had like the 'Delete' that you would see above the number keys on the right hand side, but I have adjusted to working without it.It is very portable. I can toss it in my purse with my tablet that I use it with. I hardly ever use my laptop anymore because its so much easier to get out the tablet and this keyboard. I like the slot for the device as well. Unfortunatly it is a little slim, so I can't fit much in there unless it's bare or a small, small case.The battery life is very extensive. I have only charged it once since I've gotten it and use it quite often. It's been about a month or so.

The keyboard arrived today and so far my impression of it is good. The keyboard came very securely packaged in a sturdy and attractive box. It would have been perfect to gift wrap and give as a gift, but this beauty is staying with me.The keyboard easily paired with my new IPad A16 (2025). As others have stated, make sure to read the instructions. Because it can pair with up to 3 devices, it's a bit more complicated than connecting other bluetooth devices.The keyboard is sturdy enough to hold my tablet. The folding case doesn't completely fit within the slot; however, if the tablet is in landscape orientation it works just fine. The IPad sits at the perfect angle, but the camera is hidden inside the slot. That's okay though. No one needs to see me typing away in my pajamas anyway. ;-)The keys feel solid. There is a bit of clickiness that is just right for my preference. It's not a full size keyboard, but it's large enough that I'm not constantly hitting the wrong key.The instruction booklet is small and offers instructions for setting up using Windows, Mac, IOS, or Android. There are no instructions for typing with special characters. I'll need to search the internet for help with typing in Spanish for my homework. It would have been helpful to include those instructions somewhere. Maybe it's old hat for people who mainly type in languages other than English.Lastly, the keyboard is attractive. It matches my rose gold folding IPad case nicely. It doesn't look flimsy or cheap. I look forward to using it rather than the on screen keyboard that drives me crazy.
