I have a small shop in my shed with 1,100lb cnc mill, manual lathe and bandsaw. I got this for cutting 6061 mostly with some 7075 on the CNC and bandsaw to help preserve the blade. Finish in 6061 appears nice and bright but if I had to complain about something it would be the smell is a bit strong for my small area. Obviously not an issue if you are running a machine shop with full enclosures and good ventilation.

I am a beginner at using coolant. So far results have improved surface finish.Using on a bench top lathe and small vertical mill.

Solid machining fluid. I tested it out on a project I was working on where I had to drill a series of large holes through 3/8" thick box steel. I set it up on a drip tank on my drill press and went to work. It did very well keeping the bit cool as I drilled. I really leaned hard on it the last couple and, of course, the heat increased substantially. However, I was impressed at how hard I pressed before I got the telltale smoke and smell. Overall, I believe this is a solid product.

I picked this gallon of fluid up to add to my Jet Bandsaw. From what I have read, this will help reduce wear and tear on the band saw teeth, extending its life over time. The container does say machining fluid but it also notes to be used for Band Saws. The price was good so I thought I would give it a try. Time will tell on how good it really works.

This coolant seems to be pretty good for your all-around general purpose machine work. I have a Bridgeport manual mill and a mid-sized engine lathe and it seems to keep the tooling cool and sharp and I love that the smoke produced by regular oils (WD-40, 3-in-1, etc.) is non-existent in this coolant. Surface finish comes out very nice without the chatter and burning of other coolants. I recommend you give this a try in your shop!

Excited to add this Fusion product to my metalworking needs. Have purchased a few of these in the past and be very happy with the results.
