I have three pairs of these speakers in different rooms. I use them to listen to music on my computers and in my shop while working. They are great for the price.

bought this to function as my speakers for both my computer and TV. Cables were just long enough too (I have the speakers spaced very wide as I have a 27 inch triple monitor setup and a 55 inch TV above it) despite having a significant amount of distance. Being able to chose which speaker to make powered speaker is a godsend. I have them mounted and they've worked great. Don't have much experience with other speakers this size so I can't say much else, but I have very much been my Mackie speakers. Great sound and quality
