Looking for a portable and versatile active speaker for live sound applications? Then look no further than the Mackie Thump215 Kit 15" Powered PA Loudspeaker System that comes in pair, a powerful PA speaker that includes a 2-channel mixer, great for small club/band PA systems, singer/songwriters, boardrooms, A/V presentations, classrooms, or as a personal monitor for practice or performance. The Thump215's mixer features two combo XLR-1/4" mic/line channels with dedicated gain controls, while an XLR output is provided for daisy-chaining additional speakers. A 3.5mm TRS aux input is also available on channel 2 for connecting your favorite portable player. The tough, impact-resistant polypropylene enclosure ensures protection from on-the-road wear and tear. The bottom of the cabinet provides a pole cup for mounting on a speaker pole or stand. The angled design allows the speaker to be used as a floor monitor for onstage performance monitoring.

You’ve got music playing nice and loud but, it’s time for another announcement. Sure, you could mess with your levels every time, but who’s got time for that. Simply press the Music Ducking button, and channel 2 will automatically turn down whenever you speak into the mic on channel 1.

And it’s an unfortunate issue that physics won’t change its mind on. But wait! Hit the Feedback Eliminator button and laugh in the face of those silly acoustic laws.
NO MIXER? NO PROBLEM
Connect any combination of audio sources, including guitar, microphone, keyboard, or DJ mixer. The built-in 2-channel mixer on the rear panel has two combo input jacks for easy plug-and-play plus an 1/8" stereo line in for connecting the audio output from a smartphone or media player.

These speakers sound really good indoors.However, outdoors, they do not do justice to the Bass guitar. It loses all or most of its "bassiness".They sound good with vocals both indoors and out.I gave it 2 out of 5 stars for the above reasons and the fact that the auray stands that they come with are not designed for these particular speakers. The stands seem to be sturdy and well-built. However, they fit very loosely into the speaker, leaving the speakers tilting slightly forward. I do not know if there is supposed to be bushings or something too fill the gap, but I never got any.

I had to dj a big party and I plugged them in and nothing. I plugged in my old speakers and they instantly started working.These speakers don't work at all. Everything lights up and it shows they are receiving a signal but no sound comes out at all.

Mackie is amazing as your expect, but my speakers came dented. I do wish the seller would have placed protection in front of the grill as they are not packed well for shipping from the manufacturer. Not sending them back, because i assume they will come dented again. Ordered speakers from multiple venders, all have a dent or two unfortunately.

I always wanted these speakers for a portable PA, and they are everything I hoped for! This is the best deal I've ever seen for them, too. Love them.

Speaker stand has a dent in one of the legs see attached photo). The knob that holds the bottom of the stand in place was broken (see attached pic). In the photo it showed a carrying bag for the speaker stand but it was not with the package when I opened it.Other than the listed above, I love the speaker. The sound is great! I’m glad I decided on the Mackie brand. Love it!
