The first one they sent didn't work, but they immediately sent me a new one. And it's working great. I'm now pulling shot of my Expobar espresso machine, like it's brand new. It's over 17 years old.

I have a Starbucks/Saeco Barista espresso machine from the early 2000s. Over time the pump got weaker and weaker. I saw some videos on how to rebuild it but elected to just replace it. It took about 1/2 hour to take things apart and reassemble. This matched the original pump exact. Pretty basic mechanics to replace it

My espresso machine is nearly 30 years old, it stopped working ages ago so it was gathering dust in my basement. One day I decided it was do or die, so I cracked it open, grabbed a photo of the pump. Sure enough they still make them. I managed to swap it out in about ten minutes and since then a few weeks ago it's been operating just fine. My expensive espresso machine is as good as new now. $50 part saves $600 machine.Sorry no photo, wasn't time as it went so fast.

This pump as shown on sale is supposed to come with 2 rubber gaskets which were not included in the box. I had to build one myself with gasket material because when you take out the old pump you need to put at least a new one . I have 2 Pavonis and will have to order a new pump probably this year. I hope this company deals with their shipping problem so I don't have the same mistake twice. For the rest the pump works fine.

La pompe fonctionne très bien 👍Le seul problème que j’ai eu c’était la livraison qui a été longue a cause du dernier transporteur…

I was able to get the new pump the next day via Prime because it is Fulfilled by Amazon. The pump appears nearly identical to the one it replaced, with a brass pipe. I think I saw some that were plastic. I am currently drinking a café latte made with the new pump which is proof that it is working well and I believe it is quieter. I am very pleased with the purchase and repair. The pump came in a sturdy little cardboard box, not a plastic bag and I appreciated the pump-specific information sheet with very useful information. The installation was easy well under an hour. The most time consuming part was priming the pump with water, which I did after installing the pump and I'm not sure if you could do it beforehand? I already had a little syringe, originally meant for giving a baby medicine, that I use when I forget to fill the espresso machines water reservoir and it pumps air and needs priming (been there, done that?). It took longer than usual. I bet there are instructions online with tricks on how to prime the pump that may have been helpful.Interestingly, to get to the nuts that hold the pump in place you have to remove the plastic piece above the water reservoir by removing the two big screws in on the back of the shelf the pump sits on.The tools I used were a phillip's screwdriver, a crescent wrench, the syringe, and a bowl of water.

Replaced the 10+ year-old pump in my Rancilio Silvia V3 which had given up the ghost. Thought I’d have to replace the machine itself, however, after reading comments/reviews on Amazon and checking out YouTube vids, it looked like a fairly easy job. The YT video that gave me the best info was by Kanen Coffee. It’s very thorough. Changeout took about 2 hours. Now she runs better than when new: faster & quieter. Just pulled my first cup. Flavor is great. Crema is excellent. The only thing I would do differently, were I to buy a pump again, is to get the one that’s $10 cheaper. I think that one and the one I bought (MacMaxe brand) are exactly the same, though I could be wrong. Both carry the same model number and both are manufactured by ULKA, and in the pics they look exactly alike. If you’re looking to replace yours, be sure to get the one with the brass exit tube. It’s more durable. I’m not complaining that I spent more than I might have. Just wanted to be on the safe side regarding longevity. My machine now has a new lease on life!
