The dough is very hard and the instructions say you’ll will need water but it doesn’t specify how much. I added a cup of water and even then the dough was too hard to get an actual print out of. I pressed my child’s foot down, but it barely made an indent. I had to outline it just to make it visible and it just doesn’t look good.

Sand was hard and hand prints barely visible. I live in a dry climate and after three days I had to put it in the oven on a low temperature to get it to harden. Paint brush is too small for painting a stone. It would be fine for outlining something but with the rough texture we had to buy additional larger brushes.

It has been over 48 hours and the handprint still hasn't dried out,not very happy. Not sure when we will be able to paint it. Mother's day will be late.

The materials came well packaged and the dough was still wet enough to work with. You really have to knead it in order to get it to lay flat in the plastic bin. The kids loved making these for Father’s Day. The paint adds a creative element to the standard hand print crafts you might see elsewhere.

Adorable Father’s Day gift! It was not as easy to make the handprint as it looked and it took a lot longer to dry/harden than it said…but our son had a great time painting it and his Dada loves it! Will be getting the other ones to paint for our little front porch garden project! I’m not saying it’s not worth it, but you should be prepared and plan to do it days in advance so it can be painted at a later date! Don’t procrastinate like I did 🤣
