These appear to be genuine 3M products.According to 3M, the "Mighty Blue" is more coarse than the "7447" but they are only one step difference. They are both Aluminum oxide scuffing pads.The "Mighty Blue" was originally designed for surface prep for MIG and TIG welding and powder coating.The "7447" is a bit finer and designed to give paint a bit of bite for the next coat.That said, I use them according to dirt on the surface. Light rust I'll use the more coarse, water stains or similar I use the 7447. (It probably done not make a real difference)At any rate this is a good price for a supply that will last most folks quite a while.Pro Tip for you 3D printing folks. If your PEI plate stops sticking, before you throw it away, put a few drops of Dawn and some water on it and use the 7447 on it. Usually that makes it as good as new. I especially do this on fine textured build sheets.

This is simply 6 pieces of 3M "maroon" Scotch Brite pad cut to 6" x 9". I use Scotch Brite pads mostly for final sanding before finishing, and for between coats sanding. The maroon is a pretty aggressive pad, then I go to the grey and/or white pads. Besides the larger size these pads are also thicker than the ones I have that come on a roll in a box. as packaged directly by 3M.Good product, nothing earth shattering.

These are great scratch pads for removing material off a surface. I was using this to remove paint off my car to do bodywork. This should work for woodworking as well as metal work as well. I like that it’s a 3M abrasive product. It feels like this will last quite a while for multiple projects. I’d definitely recommend it.

I haven't had much experience with 3M Scotch Brite pads in the workshop, but I'm finding them very useful. Kind of a cross between sandpaper, steel wool, and a wire brush. Holds liquid to a certain extent, so it kind of acts like a sponge, too. Not to abrasive on the surface, but will remove things like light rust.These are largest pads, but you can cut them down to the needed size. I have been cutting them into 1 in wide strips and holding each end to scrub the outside of pipes. I imagine you could get them to attach to a sander or an edge grinder or something as well.Good addition to my workshop and to my tool set.

I got 6 maroon 6 x 9 pads which fit the majority of what I use pads for, that is metal prep and cleaning and scuffing machine parts and equipment maintenance. You can rinse them and keep using them pretty much till gone, and they don't rust between uses. I did fine it interesting that they say "made with" 3M scotch brite not exactly sure what that means as to branding. But they seem to be as durable as any 3M branded products I have used, Price wise they beat what I can find locally but seem to be quite expensive when compared to other Amazon offerings.

These things are aces! I've been using one to sand the destroyed finish off of a wooden and chrome-headed cane and I'm thoroughly impressed with how well it's coming along after just a short time, on both the wood and the metal parts! The shaft of the cane is carved to look as if two pieces of wood are intertwined and these sanding pads are proving to be instrumental in getting into the crevices and around the curves. These have just the right amount and coverage of abrasive bits for it to be a great first pass or two for an easy follow-up with finer grits. They're also a nice size so you can sort of palm one and wrap it around a table leg or a wooden vase or lamp base or whatever and really get some nice coverage with minimal effort. Highly recommended!

These Scotch-Brite pads don’t look at all like the pictures on Amazon. The pads on Amazon are shown as light blue and pink. The ones you get are more like dark green and burgundy. They do have the 3M and Scotch-Brite logos printed on one side. I didn’t realize how large they were going to be (a little over 6 x 9 inches); I’m used to using smaller ones.Assessing their value, I found some dark green 6x9 inch Scotch-Brite general purpose scouring pads at Home Depot. You get 10 of them for $12.45, so they’re $1.25 each. Buying them from “SOLINT” you get 6 pads for $19.99, making them $3.33 each. So they’re a bad deal. Overall I have to give them a pretty low score due to the difference between what you’re shown and what you get, and the unreasonably high price relative to other name-brand Scotch-Brite pads.

Wow, these 3M Scotch-Brite pads have become indispensable in my blacksmith shop. I've been consistently impressed with the quality of the final finishes I can achieve on my metalwork using these. They really help bring out the beauty in the steel. What I also really appreciate is the size of each pad. Being 6" x 9" means I can easily cut them down to whatever size I need for a particular project. No more awkwardly trying to maneuver a full-sized pad for smaller tasks! They are durable and effective. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable abrasive pad, especially if you work with metal. 3M is the undisputed leader in abrasives, and these are well-worth the price, especially for the performance!
