Warm Tips:

Our teenage son is really getting into bow hunting, so we purchased a few accessories for him to use. This was one that I thought he might enjoy and find useful, but I'm afraid it actually might not last extremely long. The plastic seems pretty cheap, and the line that comes out and retracts is pretty small and slim. The sewed-on points that connect the line to the clips does not actually look very secure. I'll probably have my son use it a couple of times, but we'll look for a better quality hoist that doesn't look as if it may break down in the middle of a hunting expedition!

I've always use a cord to bring my bow up to the tree stand and this is not only eay to use, it's small and out of the way. Not that wrapping my cord up is hard, but this operates smoothly for not only bringing a bow or other up to the stand, it also works to lower stuff too.This has a clip of attaching to anything and a belt clip that also can attach to a tree wrap. Pulling my cord is quicker, but this winds up fast and easy. Bow season just started here and I think I sold a few of these. Two other hunters I showed it to, also like it small size and out of the way abilities.I do recommend this. It is solidly made and I am not taking time to open my cord and make it ready to use. This makes it all just easier.

I love the idea of this, and this thing will work just fine. It feels a bit on the cheap side though. I appreciate the flat design so it doesn't tangle easily when your are rolling it back up, but the plastic housing feels a bit cheap and I wonder how long it will last bouncing around in my hunting pack. The crank for rolling it back up works, but is also something I just have a hard time believing will hold up well to repeated uses.

This little hoist works perfectly for its designed use. It is definitely safer pulling gear up to the tree stand than trying to carry it up. The hoist itself is lightweight and easy to throw in a pocket when climbing. It is long enough and strong enough to haul up whatever you need in your stand.

Exactly what I needed. Much easier to manage than a traditional pull up rope that acts like a large scent wick while hunting

I like how you don't have 30ft of rope that gets all tangled up. Just hook it on you bow and climb the tree and pull your bow up. If you have a rope already I wouldn't buy it. But if you need a rope give this a chance.
