These seem to write a little bit darker & the points seem t dull a little bit faster compared to some name brand #2 pencils I have, but the difference is small. The price was great. The value is great.

This is a great set of pencils and perfect for kids. The pencils are sturdy and hold up well, and the lead sharpens easily whereas the eraser smoothly clears all writing. For 240 pencils, this is amazing value!

These are good pencils. They do arrive pretty dirty but I sent them to school for a bunch of first graders and it's just fine for that! They come with a nice point and are perfectly functional. And the whole box is a great value!

As a math teacher I constantly have students that need a pencil, and these pre-sharpened pencils are the best value I’ve found. At about 6 cents each they are totally worth the money to keep kids working and on task.

I ordered this bulk pack of 240 #2 HB wood pencils for the classroom, and it’s been one of the best supply purchases I’ve made. I started to run out of pencils, and I still needed to finish off the year. With this pack, I have more than enough to even start next year. The pencils came pre-sharpened (huge time-saver). The students and I have been using them, and the graphite is strong and smooth; we have not experienced any breaks mid-sentence, and they write clearly. We even used them on Scantrons, and they worked perfectly. The erasers are soft and erase cleanly without smudging or tearing the paper. I have even used these pencils for sketching, and they are wonderful.This set is practical, affordable, and dependable. I have enough pencils to finish the school year and probably last through next year. They are a consistent, quality writing tool. Definitely recommend for teachers, parents, or anyone who needs a solid stash of pencils!

These are good pencils. They are high quality and a great value. They are sharpened nicely and the lead is centered, so they last a long time. You don’t have to worry about them having to be re-sharpened all the time to get a. Nice edge. The size is standard and there are enough to load my pencil machine a couple times. I am very happy with them.

These pencils are exactly what a person wants in a #2 pencil with no frills. The pencils write smoothly, the lead is not easily broken, and the erasers work like they're supposed to. The fact that the pencils are presharpened is great -- you're ready to go right out of the box. The price is about what is expected for 240 pencils. The only downside, if this is important to you, is esthetics -- the pencils have pretty significant lead marks on the yellow paint which will not come off when rubbed. If you were planning to glue these pencils to something as a craft project, for example, the marks might matter. But for using the pencils as a writing tool only, the marks don't affect anything and this is a good buy.
