I got a size 16 for my 12 year old son. It fits him but he will grow out of it within the year. He is taller than a lot of his classmates (about 5'2). Average built, not super skinny and not a husky boy. The suit appears to be made well and the fabric is thick. Some suits that I have gotten are pretty thin fabric, I feel that this is a good thickness for a suit. The pants have an elastic waist to help with the fit. The suspenders are well made, much thicker and stronger than I expected. They are also big enough for my son to use. His last suit he got suspenders that were much smaller than his size. The tie is very short, about 8 inches long. My son tells me it's suppose to be short so that his tie doesn't go past his waist. I would say this tie is for a size 6 not a size 16. The tie is not a deal breaker for me as my son has a lot of different ties that he likes to wear. The suit matches the color I order and looks very nice. My son is going to look sharp at church next week. For a three piece suit, this is a great price ($39 when I ordered it). I hope that it will last well after he grows out of it.

These people know how to make suits. The suit set felt heavier than I’d expected, pleasantly so.The fabric of the suit is high quality, with a smooth, rich feel. The suit, vest, and pants are nicely lined. The breast pockets on the suit and vest have a small white tab that looks like a pocket square (handkerchief), which is easily folded down inside.3 extra buttons are included. The dress pants have a button closure instead of the metal tab I often see in younger boy’s suit pants.I consider the tie and suspenders to be bonus, particularly since my son prefers long neckties he has to tie, like his dad, and doesn’t usually wear suspenders.The suit pants have some elastic at the waistband for a more comfortable fit. This set is true to size.I will be ordering the next size up when my son outgrows this one.Their suits are incredibly well-made, hence an excellent value.
