The objective part...I'm 5' 8" - 195 lbs. I got a size large. The fit was pretty good for the jacket - not a tailored look or feel by any means, but that's not what I would have expected. The pants are pretty long. Again, this is about what I typically expect if I were to buy a pre-pared, untailored suit set in size large.The subjective part...Come on now - a purple velvet suit? Fun fact - I actually wore a purple tux coat to my senior prom. I had to have this. Something I don't think comes across well in the photos is the bit of sparkle this suit has. This is not a fine tailored suit as you can tell by the color and price. However it is sewn well and the seams are tight. The overall fit is true to the sizing chart and I ordered a size XXL and normally wear a size 36x34 in pants and my jacket size is 48. I am 6'2" and weigh 220 lbs. If you want to use that as a reference.Now for my impression of this, it is absolutely great and a lot of fun. I had a party to attend and this was perfect. I did have to take it to a tailor for the jacket as it was too wide in the shoulders for my personal taste. The material has this great shimmer to it and wears nice. Paired with a brilliant green vest and light purple shirt and black shoes my look was fantastic, as my girl told me. The jacket and pants are a little heavy being of polyester. It is not thin but a good thick fabric. It does have all the suit features as an inside pocket in the jacket and the pant pockets are real as well. For the price and with what you get this is a great value and so much fun. If you think about it with everything costing so much more now a plastic cheap costume at the store is now like 30 plus dollars, so for a few more you get a good quality outfit that can be worn more than once.

Honestly, this suit looks cheaply made. The description says velvet, but it looks more like cheap, fuzzy, glittery fabric—it literally looks like it’s covered in glitter. My fiancé says it’s not comfortable and feels stiff. Definitely not what we were expecting. Not great quality at all for the price.

I got this velvet suit for my son to wear to a formal event. Unfortunately it did not fit as expected. It's a size small men's, but was super baggy on him. I know he's generally on the small side, so that was a little expected, but it was much baggier than I hoped. I also wasn't expecting it to be glittery. I pulled it out and knew instantly he wouldn't wear it. Even though it says velvet, it's actually just really shiny. I personally liked the look and thought it was a good value for the money, but he refused to wear it. I can't say it's a high-quality item, but it would pass well enough for kids events or semi-formal. I don't know very many small men, so I'm not sure what we'll do with it.

I got this in black for my grand, and he loves it! He's using it for school dances, because he's just that kind of guy! The fit is perfect, and the fabric feels great. We both love that it almost sparkles.As is normal for kids, I found it on the floor, no wrinkles, but I did hang it back up. This suit isn't the kind that you would pass down, the quality isn't that good, but it's good enough to wear for several years. It's a good price for that.

This suit was so great 💜 my daughter wore it for her dance and it was stunning.We ordered a small she weights 130 pounds and is 5’4”. The jacket fit nicely but the pants needed a belt.

I bought this for my son for his prom. I cannot begin to describe how pleased I am with this tux/suit. The quality is amazing! The color is stunning. I was a bit nervous it would be more of a vivid purple. It is not. It is deep, rich eggplant purple. I could not have rented him a basic black tuxedo for what this stunning suit cost me. I bought the size recommended by the sizing chart and it is a good fit. To anyone looking for a party/holiday/prom outfit for your son or partner, get this. You will not be disappointed.
