The looks in my family love to play with educational toys. This one was a hit with all of them of all ages. They loved learning and even used it together. If you have little kids who love to learn and love to interact with their educational toys, this is a must have item. I think it would make a great gift.

Wow, so this globe is amazing! My 5 year old son has only scratched the surface but the Globe mixed with the App learning really sets it apart from other globes. This is the perfect size for his little hands and he even took it to show and tell in his preschool. He loves locating new countries/cities and learning new things. Such an educational value. The globe also lights up and sets on coasters that allow the globe to spin. It's really a really well thought out item that should be fun for him for a while!

The app is not user friendly and still needs plenty of development. The instructions don’t really support the app in guiding one to set up the AR view. My toddler already forgot this toy exists sadly and he loves learning about the world.

My kids (6 and 8) were definitely drawn to this Magic Adventures Globe right away; the novelty of the AR features and seeing animations pop up is a clear winner for them. It's got a good range of topics they say it covers, from animals to landmarks, and the night light feature is a nice little extra. On the downside, the globe itself is smaller than I expected, more of a desktop trinket than a substantial globe. And the main interactive part, the AR app, is where it stumbles. It feels pretty mediocre, and frankly, it had a tendency to lose tracking with the globe, which, as you can imagine, led to some frustration for the kids. For the current sale price, it's an okay pickup because the kids do find it engaging for a bit, but those app issues and its small size mean it’s not quite a home run. Love how it spins too

Thinking back to when I was a child and had a small plastic moon with glow-in-the-dark paint...I’m astounded by the interactive capability with this little globe! It lights up from the inside, and uses an app you must download: “Fun Globe” to select a variety of topics to explore visually and auditorily on a cell phone or pad. The globe arrived in its giftable box with lots of information all over it, including the QR code to identify your particular globe. There were some glitches in the setup due to poor translation/missing information in the instructions, but we grandparents muddled through and figured it out. When you open the app select “There is a globe”. I’ll try to help by saying DON’T choose to setup via the bar code – it wasn’t printed on our box! Instead select the 5-inch ‘RiotousProfusion’ from the options. (It doesn’t say that anywhere.) Then select the icon for any topic you’d like to explore. If it has an orange download arrow, then that topic takes longer to open; wait until it turns completely green. After that, you can opt to view/listen in the “3D” format that overlays your view of the globe with moving creatures, or the “image” format that talks over a stationary view with printed text. Once you get accustomed to making all of the available choices, you can guide a child through the process. My attached screenshots were all done through my iPhone. When our 4-yr-old computer-savvy granddaughter came over with her hand-me-down iPad, she caught on in minutes, and was busy for hours exploring all of the topics. I love everything about this globe. It’s sturdy and the right size for a preschooler. I might choose the larger one for a school age child just so they can read/manipulate it better, but the app does all the work, so the size of the globe really doesn’t matter as much as the size of the device you’re using. Also, a magnifying glass is included for a closer look at the globe, to read the country names, etc. A charging cable is included, but NOT the wall plug, so you’ll have to find/buy one. (The one in the photo is mine.) The wooden base is smooth and sturdy with bearings that allow the globe to easily spin. (You’re warned against spinning it too fast if you have a child that gets excited about this capability!) I highly recommend this globe as a great educational learning tool that uses/develops electronic device skills appropriately. It's well worth the price of purchase. Have fun exploring it with the kid(s) in your life!

Nice glove. Small size so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It has a lot of names on it so the magnifying glass comes in handy. Great to have around as a tool and a game. 3 stars because I haven’t gotten the app for interaction to work for me yet

This is such a fun and educational interactive globe. It's pretty small, (5 inch diameter) but we expected that based on the product description. The size isn't a problem for us and it comes with a little magnifying glass so you can read all the tiny writing on it. My daughter actually loves that it's smaller and she can carry it around if she wants. And it's the perfect size to sit on her desk and use as a nightlight. It feels like it is pretty good quality. There's an app you will need to download to get the full use out of it. With the app on you can use your phone to view different information about different areas of the globe; such as animals in the area, technology, architecture, famous people, culture, and more. You could spend hours on this thing learning about the world. You just move your phone around the globe and it will pop up pictures from the category you are looking at from that specific area. It's really easy to use and my 6 year old daughter says it is an amazing globe, she loves it.
