The dipped coating is the first to rub off, and then the knitted material is snagged on any surface and torn, but does protect against accidental cuts. Like any material against a sharp edge, the gloves will fail and cut through. The casual graze will not get through, but any pressure that can be felt will make it through.A solid midrange protective glove.

It's quite dry where I live, especially during the winter, which makes the skin on my hands fragile. I typically use cut gloves when gardening or doing DIY tasks, as any small scrape will cause annoying cuts. I also occasionally handle metal sheets or rough lumber, in which case cut gloves are essential. These cut gloves are definitely more durable than the A3s I would typically use, and they're no bulkier than those. I didn't do a real pressure test with a blade to see if they stand up to the 3,000-3,9999 grams of pressure from a blade that they're rated for, but I did a few light passes over a finger with my utility knife and they didn't show any damage. I like that they're neon green and orange, which makes them easy to spot in my workshop. All in all, absolutely nothing wrong with these gloves; I would happily buy them again. I've only been using them for a few weeks now so I can't say how they'll hold up long-term, but so far, so good, and for the price I wouldn't mind replacing them more often than the ones I usually buy from the big hardware stores near me.

These are the standard work gloves that you will find at hardware stores where the palm of the work gloves have grip, but the top of the gloves has a sturdier material rather than cloth. I find that these are more comfortable because they still allow flexibility while maintaining good protection. I'm primarily using it for working out in the yard because I do not feel it will provide enough protection if I cut the top of the glove, but you should never use these type of gloves for that. However, these are perfect for yardwork and general use around the house.

I pulled these out when installing some garage shelving where I needed to twist a large, ice-cold screw deep enough into the drywall/wood that my ratching tool could get traction to do the rest of the job. These did a great job insulating me from the cold of the screw, providing extra grip for twisting it, and protecting the sensitive skin of my hands from injury.I would report on the cut level protection, but it’s not exactly something I want to test while my hand is inside the glove. Suffice to say that they feel and look like they would provide reasonable protection against accidental slicing. If I end up accidentally testing the cut level factor or discover flaws worth sharing, I will come back and update this review accordingly.

I have short fingers so to find gloves that fit is close to impossible. The fingers are too long for me to use them for precision work. They are also stiff. This might improve over time. I do love that they reinforced and padded the thumb webbing area. I always get blisters there when raking, even with gloves. But these will prevent those blisters from forming.Update after lots of yard work. They are no longer stiff and the little extra finger length did not hinder my using tools. Great news is that they were tough enough to protect my hands from rose thorns. Some of the thorns were long and hardened and the gloves kept those out! That to me is a real test of the toughness of a garden glove. As expected, the extra padding around the thumb webbing kept me from getting blisters. They also proved to be waterproof and warm enough to keep my hands warm on a cold fall day. I highly recommend these gloves.

These are a Great pair of gloves. I wear a large size 9. They are coated on the palms with a not shinny rubberized coating that grips great. In between the thumb and fore finger they double coated it. I thing that was a great idea because that's where the shovel or rake usually leave rub blisters, it wont now. The backs are a nice breathable material that will keep your hands from sweating. They are form fitting but tough, i think they will hold up for a long time. Hey, want to know the best part about these gloves, they are so good i typed this whole message while wearing them!! Try doing that with other gloves and have them last 10 years.Update 04-28-24; so, I thought I’d do an update on these D-Roc gloves. I’m doing a construction job and wearing them all day during it. It’s been around 2 months now, but they are still going strong except for the wording peeled off the back. I have been digging in the dirt, hauling / cutting lumber. Tarred and shingled a roof, nothing has fazed them. The other worker I’m with went through 2 pairs of his gloves before he finally bought a set of these and has been wearing them ever since. I have not washed them yet, waiting till we are done and will toss them in the laundry then. They are a little pricey but still think they are a great pair of gloves. Hope the pictures come through, hope I helped.

I'm going to use these gloves a lot, I've been using this brand before and they have quality products. These gloves are lightweight and sturdy, the palm is covered by an orange polyethylene coating that allows you to grab branches/wooden beams full of splinters, or even metal with angled and sharp corners. Between the index finger and the thumb there is a resin as added protection, this will allow you to grab ropes or pipes without hurt your hand. The fabric on top, colored by a high visibility yellow fabric that let your hand breathe, quite important if you live in the south.I'm will use them in the garden and when I have to fix anything at home.
