Pros:1) Easy to install2) Easy to operate3) Function as expectedCons:1) No instructions provided2) Less magnetic power than advertised, does not hold the door if opened firmly3) The screws provided I found no use forI installed this on a bathroom door to replace a door stop that had broken. I installed the door side first using the sticky tape provided. Then I attached the other end of the magnet to the one installed and applied the sticky tape and then shut the door to place the stopper in the correct spot. Works fine, doesn't stop the door if it is opened with more than usual force. The spring in the receptacle is kind of nice, but also allows the door to bounce. It's better than the door hitting the tile now though.

I recently purchased a magnetic door latch from CHENGHONG for my older RV, and it's been a fantastic upgrade from the original plastic latch that broke after a few years of use. This new magnetic latch allows me to open the door and keep it open with just a magnet, eliminating the need to reach down and fiddle with the old latch. Installation was quick and easy, and I love that I no longer have to bend down to unlatch the door. The magnet holds the door securely in place, greatly improving my camping experience. This is a great upgrade for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor RV experience.

Anybody with an RV knows that the door holders built into the trailer are just slightly annoying to deal with. Having a magnetic holder rather than the plastic catch is a great idea.Everything comes in the package that you need for installing these except for a drill. I used the 3M double sided sticky disc to mount these, because it's bad to put screw holes in an RV. The magnet is pretty strong, and I don't see normal winds pulling the door closed. In my testing, the 3M disc showed no signs of letting go. My only concern is how it will hold up in cold weather (I take RV trips year round).For normal indoor or warm weather use, this is a great device. Jury is out on outdoor winter use, but I have high hopes.

After screwing on the mounting plate to the wall, the housing cannot be screwed back on all the way down tight because it hits the heads of the screws that they provided. The screw heads are too large or the mounting hole locations need to be moved in a little bit to clear. Also the drywall anchors are smooth cylinders and don't have any fins to bite into the drywall to hold the anchor body still when inserting the screw. They will spin in the hole. If you choose to rely just on the stick-on method, make sure you apply those two-sided stick pads on a very clean surface and make sure it's warm when applied and give it heavy pressure for 60 seconds to activate the adhesive. Update - after a week with one of these door stops attached to the outside of my camper, the ball is rusting heavily. I will be removing this door stop and buying something else.

It's a very good concept easy to install but the magnet wasn't that strong to keep our door open with a breeze
