This is the second metal, magnetic slider fidget I have oredered. The other one uses a different design which allows for less movement. This one moves more, clicks more, and falls apart more. That is its biggest issue: I'm constantly dropping one of the pieces. It's annoying, and I'm sure that eventually I will develop the muscle memory necessary to slide it in just the right way to not accidentally put pressure on it in such a way that it comes apart. But I'll need to not get so frustrated with it for long enough that I'm willing to play with it long enough for that to happen. Also, the different textures on either side are a bit annoying. It means that there is a diffinitive "correct" side to push on with your thumb, which means you can use it backwards. For certain people who gravitate towards the physical sensation of this type of clicking fidget, that's going to really bother them.

I would not recommend this fidget for children. It is more aimed at adults. It does have powerful magnets inside. This is a quality solid and heavyweight little fidget. I do find it somewhat difficult to grip as my hands are usually lotioned and it can be challenging to slide the pieces with lotion fingers. It's a bit on the noisy side, I wouldn't recommend this as a fidget for taking with you to public events, but more something to use by yourself in your home. I like that. It's so solidly built but it is quite heavy in the pockets of my shorts that I wear around the house.

This little thing is just the right size, small enough to fit in your pocket without adding any extra bulk while still feeling nice and weighty in your hand. The clicky sound is sooo satisfying. Each side has a different line pattern, so you can use whichever you like the feel of or the one your thumb grips best. You can make it click loudly by closing it from the top, or use your thumb to close it the same way you opened it for clicks that are a little quieter, but it’s definitely still a fidget for use in places where you can make noise without annoying people. You can feel every click too, which might be even more satisfying than the sound. The magnet strength is stronger than I anticipated. I thought it might just be a me-problem because I have arthritis in my hands, but when my husband (who has strong, healthy hands) used it for a few minutes, he mentioned it required more force than he expected and his thumb was a little sore.So far, I’ve used it while walking my dog, watching a movie, and reading on my kindle. And even though my thumbs are weak and get tired sooner than I’d like, I have a good time clicking it while I can.A great little fidget thingy to add to your collection of fidget thingies. I know you have a collection.

its ok- I have lots of fidget pieces so I know what I like and not as far as this one goes my main complaint is theres no grip at all on the thumb part so its hard to freely use as intended. Who designed this- its something that should of easily been addressed in the designDarn :(

I bought this for my son and he really likes it. It has a very satisfying clicking sound and is a nice, heavy weight. It stays together when moving but if it does come apart, it's easy to put back together.

I've tried this fidget on and off for a few weeks. It feels solid and durable. However, you can only slide in one direction or it will fall apart. (This is an issue because I use fidgets like these while inside my pocket.) I don't mind much for private use, but it's a little too loud for me to use comfortably in public. Also, there are different grips on either side, but you can only use one side because there's no traction on the other side. Based on the design, it seems like it should slide both vertically and horizontally. For me it needs either more functionality or more varied textures.TLDR: It's a little simple for me and doesn't really scratch the itch I'm going for. I'm sure one of my nibblings will love it.

This magnetic fidget slider feels really nice and solid in the hand; it's clearly well-made with the metal material. The magnets hold the three layers together securely, and you get a satisfying click sound as you move them. The grooves on the surface give it a great tactile feel and make it easy to grip and slide. While it's not my absolute favorite type of fidget toy – I still tend to prefer spinners – this slider is excellent to have nearby. I keep it near my computer, and it's perfect for when I need something to occupy my hands and help me focus while working.

Strong magnets hold the three sections of this fidget gadget together and let you slide the three layers back and forth in up to four satisfying clicks/steps. The whole system has a nice smooth finish that both looks good and feels good. I love magnets and this is a fun magnetic fidget gizmo.
