These little keyholders are ok. I don't think I would actually put them on my car frame to have a backup key though, because if the magnets aren't on a totally flat surface they don't hold on very well. Even if its just a little bumpy under it, the grip is significantly reduced. I'm nearly certain under a car it would not stay on. But, that being said, it can easily be stuck somewhere else with the magnets as they are pretty powerful. One thing though that i was pretty disappointed with is that there's no gasket on the case at all. Its just plastic all the way around. I thought maybe there were gaskets in the box but I didn't find any. I'm not going to put this underwater to test for its waterproof-ness, but I don't think I would trust it to be somewhere wet if it had anything inside that could be damaged by water. I mean, it probably won't leak, but I was still shocked that there was no gasket.

These are great. Super strong magnets and solid closure. Internally padded so whatever you hide in them doesn't rattle around. Great value.
