Mag-Knight used to make a lot of magnetic sheet products, including bike specific tank bras. I've got them on two bikes that have been in place for over 20 years with zero issues and still cling like a homesick barnacle. When I decided I needed a tank pad for a new bike and found the bras were no longer made, I opted for this item. I don't know who's making Mag-Knight products now, but the one I received has the magnetic strength of a piece of tissue paper. I spent at least ten minutes in full sun with a hair dryer trying to get it to stick to the gentlest of curves on a steel tank with absolutely no success. I even tried it on a perfectly flat surface and could move it with the slightest touch of a finger. The bottom line is - don't bother. It's too bad really, they used to make a great product.

You can’t slap it on your gas tank you have to read the directions which tells you to use a hairdryer and heat it for one minute to make it pliable and then put it on the gas tank works perfect used it on two different Hayabusa’s and now a 2022FJR 1300

I originally ordered one to cover up some existing scratches on my tank, but now order one for every new motorcycle I buy. They stay in place, protect those areas of your tank most likely to come in contact with jacket zippers and belt buckles, and can be easily removed for washing, waxing, ETC. I've used them on my last two Indian Scouts and they worked just great without beuing intrusive and without the flaming skulls or tribal designs of so many of the adhesive backed ones.Please note that these will NOT follow complex curves very well, even if warmed up prior to installation. Works best on relatively flat areas and gentle curves.

Works great at its job and doesn’t require any glues that might discolor paint or be difficult to move. Just remember to warm it slightly with a hair drier.

You be the judge! Your better off going to a gift shop and getting a magnet bigger than this for $5. Literally does not stick and look how small it is. Your getting ripped off

Looks okay but barely sticks to the tank. Magnetic force is very weak so I am not able to use it on my bike.
