I have been using this to potty train my 2 year old. I like that she is able to get a physical reward and once she is done potty training we can move on and use the jar to incentivize something else (probably picking up her toys). The stars are big enough for her little hands to grab and it is easy to insert the stars. It came with come extras like a chore chart too.

My 3 year old toddler makes a mess while playing and she doesn't listen to me when I ask her to clean up. I used to yell or punish her for not cleaning up. It had limited affect. I saw an Instagram story about this reward jar so I decided to try it!I explained to her how it works. Basically, once the jar is full, she can have ice cream or go to the playground. She loves both so choose something your child loves as an reward. She didn't believe me at first so I helped her to clean up. Once the jar was full, I asked what she liked. She chose ice-cream so we went out for some ice-cream. Afterwards, she still hates cleaning up but still does it so she can receive a rewards. So it does work in our case at least.Overall, this is a nice rewards system that works. Obviously each child is different so YMMV. But I don't think it would hurt to try. Highly recommended 👌.

Such a cute reward jar! I got this to use with my toddler during potty training and she loves it! You get a good amount of stars to put in and they have nice bright colors. I like that there's a little satchel to store the stars in as well. You can choose to hang it with string, put it on a stand or use magnets to put it up, all 3 options come with it although the string was not very good or long enough but not a huge deal. We'll continue to use this reward jar for future goals that we set, very cute!

It's okay. It bugged my son so much that the stars wouldn't all fit in the cup. In order to get them all to fit you had to really pay attention to how the stars were put in. The magnets are great, it functions and I like that the colors are more muted not so bright. Was using this to try and help potty train my son - which ended up being a bust for us because he just didn't care for the star system. But it is cute! Just didn't like that we couldn't fit all the stars in the cup

I ordered this item to put on my freezer door for my grandson to use. After a couple of weeks, I moved it to clean the freezer door, and the magnets pulled right off of the wood and stayed on the freezer. While this is a very cute rewards jar and can otherwise be used as intended, it just isn't durable enough for regular use. The back of the treat jar is made of a soft wood that contains loose wood fibers, and even after wiping it off and reattaching the magnetic strips to the back of the jar, they still fall right off after attempting to remove it from the freezer again. They are almost dusty all the time. And while I could spend extra effort to seal the back with something to make the magnetic strips hold the jar in place, I didn't order this as a craft project. I assumed that it was ready to use upon receipt.

This is a really nice star jar pachage. It comes with what you need and some nice extras. You get 25 wooden stars, a cutout wooden/acrylic jar woth cute painted stars arond it. a stand, a bag for the stars, plus a manetic chart to tracks stars for weeks or months for your kids and a pen to use woth it, and a list of 100 ideas for things kids can do to earn stars. The stars fit in well, but it doesn't fit all 25 stars in the jar. I couldn't get more than 21 to fit, wven with shaking it. They come out easily at least. It also comes with two long adhesive magnet strips that work really well. It doesn't slide down my fridge like some others have. works, but when the jar starts getting filled ends up slipping down my fridge. I'm really happy with this for my kids!

Love this little thing! It is great for incentive for my little one to do good things. You can customize the stars however you want, and you can choose between magnet or hanging.
