I tried this light when it first arrived, and the battery was apparently dead - no light. I angled it so the sun was hitting the solar panel and after only a few hours, it charged and worked perfectly. It's not a tiny unit, perfect size and super bright LEDs. I waited until night to check the brightness and there will be no issue trying to see at night! There are options to mount it. If the use is on the side of a vehicle, it does contain magnets to hold it in place. If the vehicle is fiberglass, they include two self-adhesive metal discs for the magnets to attach to. Easy operational button the back side, easy mounting.

This magnetic solar light is pretty nice for the most part. Let's start with the charge time for the solar power when I first got it I didn't get to charge it but like three hours with sun and it lit up all night which was pretty impressive. The light on it can go pretty bright and light a pretty big area up as I used it all for the side of my house and it lit up everything nicely. The sensor seems to work really good and pretty sensitive to the point where it would definitely detect someone right away but doesn't detect something little like a fly or a bug which is really good because that can kill your battery. To remote included in it seems to work really well and responsive when you push the buttons on it. We have had a few days of rain so it hasn't had much sunlight yet it still seems to be working fully so the battery Inside it must hold a charge nicely. The only issue I did have is with the magnets I don't know if the metal I put it on wasn't strong enough to hold the magnets but I tried it on multiple things on the side of the house and the car port and it was strange because it would hold for a little bit and then halfway through the night it would fall so I didn't really understand that. All in all the solar light is very nice and bright to light up a good portion of your area but I wouldn't fully depend on the magnets from my experience.

I received this light as a replacement to a similar model I bought, nearly 6 years ago.I love that the light is BRIGHT! The solar charging works well, keeping the light functioning all night. The motion sensor is quick to react and turn the light on, as you approach. It can be set to stay dimly lit and brighten on approach OR go completely OFF, then light up on approach.I use this light on the side of my metal walk-in freezer, to light the dumpster area of my restaurant. It provides the workers plenty of light. My previous version of this light I had to attach with self stick foam tape. I LOVE that this light has already installed, two magnets that hold securely to the outside surface of my metal walk-in freezer. It also comes with 2 self-stick metal disks, if you want to use the magnet function on a non-metal surface. This light is simple, but THE BEST and BRIGHTEST at lighting up your area. It's convenient and always my go-to choice for effective, wire-free, exterior lighting.

I ordered this very bright outdoor RV motion sensor light for above my storage shed where I don’t have electricity. It’s very bright and looks very durable. They even came with a remote control. It came with multiple ways of mounting it, but I ended up using the included magnetic mounts as you can see in my picture. This is a great outdoor solar light. My wife really likes the fact that when we walk outside our RV now and head towards our storage shed, the light comes on automatically and is so bright. We ended up hanging this solar light from the metal trim around the roof and it worked out great.

I put this powerful solar, motion detector light on the top stair of an RV--and it works fine. At first, I didn't like the way the screws showed through at the top (seemed backwards to me as you couldn't see the heads) but now I like the way it appears to be bolted to the stair (less likely to get stolen as it would be easy to just grab it). I like that I can control it with the remote though since no instructions came with it, it's hard to figure out & remember what each button does (like one says PIR=passive infrared sensor, the other PIR+L, & the other CDS). Not standard abbreviations that are intuitive & hard to google. Price is a little high for the light but it does the job. Very useful as I can move it around (as long as I can find something made of metal which is not always that easy these days!)

This light is really bright! It's larger and heavier than I expected, probably too big to put on my camper van, so be sure to check the dimensions before ordering. I like that it shines to both sides as well as downward, and I like the option of having it turn on with the motion detector.

Excellent Light!I did not choose this light for a Motor Home application, but for a home application, attaching it with its good strong magnets to my rain gutters, at the front of the yard, so that as someone approaches the house up the walk, the light above lights the path and alerts us someone's coming. The beauty of this is that rain gutters are made of steel, so these strong magnets included in the set work very well to attach to the gutter and stay in place!I'll be interested to see how it works in different settings... (which I can adjust on the fly from the ground, using the remote) As a starter, I put it up as 30 secs on after motion detect, with a fade out as it turns off. I liked that it has the option of fade up, fade out instead of that typical startle ON, startle OFF... but when I started reallly looking at that it seems to just go to dim and stay on for a long time... so that's less interesting. Still, tho... all else: Just a super light! This is just GREAT!
