This is a pretty nice camera for temporary attachment. The magnets are quite strong and hold well, though I probably would not use it for permanent or long-term setups. It held well enough for a quick test trip on the freeway, but I do worry that the solar panel might catch too much of a strong wind and cause the camera to fall out.There are times when I rent RVs, U-Hauls, or borrow trailers that I can't screw alter to add a reverse camera. This comes in handy for that, especially when backing up because I'm not used to driving such large vehicles regularly. The wifi signal is pretty strong. It's more than enough for front-seat to the back of a trailer distance. Installation and setup is mostly straightforward also, but I don't know how well the security of it is.Overall, it does what I expect it to and works quite well.

This supercedes my expectation. The simplicity that it was to plug and play this on my trailer and it instantly was ready to go. And the monitor was way nicer than what I expected as well. It holds a great signal even cruising down a highway at 65 mph. I keep this in a box and move it between all of my trailers now.

The two minor issues are that for one, the outdoor camera doesn't have any waterproofing for the wifi antenna, and two, the solar panel wasn't quite glued down all the way. Pressing it down fixed that, but makes me question how the adhesive would hold up in really hot climates. As for the antenna, it would have been so easy to just use a stick on antenna on the back of the solar panel. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they went with a traditional antenna and also didn't weatherproof it. At this price point, I was kind of expecting at least weaterproofing.Anyway, beyond all of that, it's great. Super simple, just power on the LCD and camera and you're good. I just wouldn't use it for anything super private, like to survey the garage if you go out in boxers, because it doesn't use an encrypted video stream either. Magnet strength is insanely good, and picture quality is very good as well.
