Excellent stir/heat plate for your lab on a budget! This provides plenty of heat for efficient fluid mixing. Seems reliable, does the job without problems. A decent value. I use this for my home lab setup when I'm not at the office lab.

nice little hot plate. Boiled my solution nicely while stirring, and is a fraction of a fisher scientific hotplate.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this,I find that this has a strong magnetism does perfectly well at the stir bar has an even heating mechanism and seems to fit more than enough on the hot plate without me being frustrated or trying to find additional room... This does everything I need and honestly i am satisfied with itThat being said, I do find that the heating element heats up in an appropriate amount of time, and that in terms of using it for what I've been using it for, simple water baths and what not, It's more than adequate. I don't think you can get a much more rigid science feeling piece of equipment without going for the expert price range.This is a perfectly adequate and very good hot plate and stirrer, I can say I'm completely satisfied and it did everything I expected to do at a fraction of what that I would normally have thought for something like this. It was also super easy to set up pretty much right out of the box. It works how I expect it to and don't have to set up much.

Great form factor -- affordable. This will work great for basic chemistry and solder reflow -- I plan to "characterize" the hotplate by heating water to specific temperatures and marking the hotplate for each notch that this fits to. It is not intended to operate a very low, precise temperatures, but should provide significant heat flux for chemical reactions in the 80-300C range. I will also test this to calcine around 400 C and will report back here if I have the chance.

Very nice little heated stirer , nice little upgrade to have in the workshop for a little mini lab section ... works great and warms up super fast .Only downside is i wish it was black not white ... also it diddnt mention if it came with a stir bar or not nor did i see one in any pics so i ordered a whole pack only to find it did in fact come with one lol

Heating works but doesn’t stir. For the price this item is ok. Not worth the effort of trying to send it back.

Great heated mag stirrer.Works exactly as expected.Heats the heating pad and the mag stirrer stirs the solution.Can be used independently, just heat or just stir or both together (most common).Stirred a thick liquid culture solution used in mushroom cultivation.
