It took a min to adjust to this but it is perfect. I can set a drink on it and even with my bulky case for my tablet. I can think of things I would like it to do.. like angles.. but I am not sure it would work the same. It saves my arm when reading and lying in bed. Love!

Absolutely love this for when I want to read and relax at the same time! My phone and Kindle hold on there perfectly! Super easy to adjust if I need to! Super sturdy when I am moving around! Super durable and comfortable on my lap!

It's really convenient when it works properly. I've sometimes felt like it's a balancing act to keep the screen of the tablet or portable monitor in a good position while also managing the flap stand, which tends to collapse under the weight of the device most of the time. It doesn't provide much support beyond the adjustable range tab in front of it. However, if you fiddle with it for a few minutes, you'll find a way to balance it safely, and once you do, it works really well.It has two nicely deep drink holders at the front, and the base is cushioned, making it comfortable on your lap while still being stable on surfaces. Cleaning is easy due to the latch on the underside that separates the plastic top from the cushioned bottom.That said, I really like this carrier; it's become invaluable to me. As previously stated, my only real complaint is the level of support for the monitor or tablet. My difficulties with that might be due to user error, but the rest of the features provided by this carrier are fantastic and well thought out.

There are terrible instructions to go with this item and it makes no sense to me at all...possibly mine is defective. But the very first instruction refers to magnets for the back rest which must be invisible or just don't work.. Fortunately all I needed was a deep platform to sit on my lap for my iPad and keeping this closed up works for that. Otherwise it would be going back.
