bought a crummy but stock from somewhere else, after i received it i realize how cheaply made it was,. then god on Amazon titan magpul and found this item which was exactly what i was looking at from the other place i was looking at but stocks. bit the bullet made the purchase, after receiving it realized i should just paid that cause to begin with cause it was way worth, real magpul product very well built robust in design not too expensive just more than i was really trying to get into but after receiving it wish i had just done that from the beginning because it absolutely was the best option to go with

I had mixed thoughts about trying a fixed, non-Colt stock. A bit pricey for a simple polymer stock. While it would be great if Magpul had included the inserts for the QD points, it's not a deal-breaker without them. It's about A1 length, and there are buttpads available to extend the length of pull. The storage compartment had more space than expected, but the latching mechanism does not compare to the metal trapdoor on a classic Colt A2 stock.

Magpul makes excellent AR components. Since I put Magpul parts on all my other AR's and now prefer them to stock and other aftermarket parts, this one for my 20" AR rifle was mandatory. All the other Magpul parts are unbelievably tough, so I imagine that this is worth the cost for longevity in extreme condition. There is roughly as much space internally as the Mil-spec A2 stock for a cleaning kit or parts and it has easier access to the storage than the A2 version. I added a swivel strap button kit to one of the locations available (NOT available on an A2 stock where you're just stuck with a fixed strap loop at the rear). Overall - worth it.

Product was shipped promptly, well packaged. True to MAGPUL, fit and finish were very good, color matched up good as well (to other brands' color). Ease of installation was true to form too. The stock provides a solid anchor point for the rifle. A "QD Sling Swivel Socket" being offered at the time of purchase would be nice.
