One year after installing this gasket, I cleaned my throttle body again and found the gasket deformed as it was sucked by the vacuum forces. This gasket is made of paper-thin material and did not hold up in my 2001 Acura TL. I replaced this gasket with the FEL-PRO 61317 Throttle Body Gasket, which is made of a thick-rubber material which will not flex under engine vacuum. It is also cheaper than the MAHLE product.
