Although the pieces were made in China and Taiwan the Mahle timing cover seal set for a 2002 and up Mopar 3.7l V6 engine was perfect for me. I had a small ball joint press and various cups/adaptors to easily and slowly push the damper pulley seal out of the timing cover and gently press the new Mahle in. I had erosion under one o ring and had to sand, knife, and scrape the oxidized material out to shiny, pure aluminum and fill it with aluminum epoxy, level it then buff it with a high grit number sand paper. I still put a thin layer of the silver (for aluminum) RTV sealant from the kit over that spot for good measure. No one wants oil in their coolant not coolant in their oil. The car had 198000miles and 20 years with only one coolant change, so not a shocker. I replaced the right cylinder head after it dropped an intake valve seat randomly during a cold start on a 70F morning. I only needed one of the two included silver RTV packets to put a bead around the critical sealing areas. A good value. MAHLE is now with DANA Victor Reinz Corp and Clevite. 9-29-2023
