One gasket was black rubber coated, the other was uncoated gray cardboard. Why? Not worth the risk of leaking on one side, so I will not install.

Put this gasket set on my 93 gmc 1 ton van, not a fun project, all the gaskets needed and just enough silicone gasket stuff, great price also. Working great so far.
