Support Offline Clone (No Need Computer)
- Insert source drive into HDD1 slot, and target drive into HDD2 slot, no need to connect the cloner to PC.
- Open the power switch, double-click CLONE button after two Drive Indicators light up, then the clone progress LED indicates from 0% to 100%.
- When connect the cloner to PC, cloning won't work.
- Please make sure the capacity of target drive is larger than source drive.
- Please backup your data in the target hard drive before cloning.
- This SATA dock supports hard drives capacity up to 36TB.

It cloned one drive to another as it was supposed to. It took longer than I was used to cloning but was hassleless.

Update-----------------------------------------------------Two of the harddrives got corrupted and is unable to use unless formatted. It was working without any disconnects, I dont know why but it kept corrupting the drives....I attempted to transfer data between two external HDDs, but the speed I was getting was ~41 MB/s. But using this, I’m consistently achieving speeds of 185-190 MB/s. Also much simpler to use, as it only requires one power cord to power both drives.I haven't tried the offline clone function yet, but so far, this product has been outstanding!

I have several external Seagate 8 TB hard drives and none perform better than internal Seagate 8 TB with this disk dock. Thank you so much for such a fantastic product and quick delivery. Amazon rocks!

Worked great for 5 months. Used the clone function once, about 3 times faster that doing it through the computer. Then it died. Reported it to the seller but they won't do anything. I expected at least a one year warranty, but there is no warranty given. From now on I will buy another brand that comes with 12 month warranty.

Glacial - is the best way to describe the cloning speed, took 30+ minutes to get to 20%, had to shut it off and use actual cloning software, otherwise - its a decent toaster.
