The Breeze 4000 Make-a-Clamp kit creates clamps that meet the needs of applications such as securing, mounting, strapping, clamping, and positioning. This kit creates clamps of 2" diameter and greater. A worm gear mechanism adjusts the clamp's diameter to apply uniform sealing pressure and provide strong clamping. The 9/16" wide screw saddle locks into the band to form a concentric circle and maintain a uniform seal. The banding, fasteners, and splice are made of stainless steel for resistance to corrosion. The slotted, 5/16" (8 mm) hex-head screw allows installation using a blade screwdriver, nut driver, or socket wrench, and is made of stainless steel that conforms to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 305 standard and provides resistance to corrosion. This Breeze 4000 hose clamp kit is suitable for creating a non-standard size hose clamp, such as for manufacturing plant maintenance.
Hose clamps attach tubing and hoses to fittings to prevent flow leakage, or are used for hose or wire mounting applications. They come in a variety of designs to distribute uniform pressure over the circumference of hoses to bind them to fittings. Other hose clamp types are used for mounting, strapping, clamping, and positioning hose or wire. Hose clamps are suitable for a large number of industries, and commonly used in industrial, electronic, and automotive applications.

The clamps can be made to fit any size project however they have a small (3.25") range of adjustment once made up. I use this style clamp for segmented wood turning and have a need for a much larger range of adjustment.

Seems to have worked effectively. I had a noisy heat shield on an 04 Subaru. Used this to keep it tighter in place around the muffler. Fortunately, it was near the back, and easy to reach. May help to have a ratheting screwdriver, to tighten, once you have it in place. A standard one will do. Need to get a rough idea of the length required, before cutting to size. I could easily use one of the other rwo clamps to make a second one, with remaining strap, or if the old one falls off. But stainless should last a while. Need to check to see if any differential metal corrosion happeninh, and possibly add some exhaust wrap or something in between to prevent it. I think Subaru may have solved this issue on later models (I hope), but I have an old one. Anyeay, this product seems to be one work around, that solves it, at least for a while.

I was looking for some long hose clamps to mount an over sized fuel tank on a Generator when I stumbled onto these that you can make them any length you need. The fuel tank does have a bracket it sits on, just needed to hold it in place, so I don't know how much weight the clamp will hold.Very easy to use. You do need tin snips, wire cutters or something else to cut to the length you want. Instructions are clear.Just what I needed.

Needed a a large stainless steel band to fasten a solar cell around a chimney and this item has done the job to perfection. Made life extremely easy (no drilling into concrete at high heights). Truly a life saver!

This kit allows you to create custom size clamps. Very durable material. I made 2 large clamps to hold my 100 lb propane take up against the front frame of my travel trailer. There are a few things to note when cutting the band material. The fasteners are only 3 inches long so if the band is cut too long it wont tighten properly. It is best to test fit the band around what ever you are clamping and interlock the fastener and worm gear screw to check for proper length before you cut. If you cut the band too short there is only 1 splice that connects two pieces of band together. It is best to connect the fastener ends first and turn screw 1 or 2 times then slide or slip it over whatever you are clamping. If not, it is a challenge to connect the two ends and start to tighten as the band will twist on you.

***UPDATE***It's a shame that "Made In USA" has to mean junk, but it's true. I have to say that the idea behind this kit is great, and when you get the parts it works fantastic. But just how hard is it to pack 8 simple parts into a plastic box?? I mean really, is it that hard to find someone capable of counting to eight in Pennsylvania?? There are 3 short straps that allow the worm screw to clamp..... guess what, my kit didn't come with the three short straps! I'm not the first to have this problem.... major FAIL!!So as I said, this is a very good idea and design, and it's almost impossible to find anything that can give you the same options.... so I bought two more kits. Guess what, one of the two again did not have all the parts making the kit useless. This time I checked before I opened it up and will return it for another. Such lousy quality control at this company, very bad!!

I have a 40 year old White Mountain Oaken Bucket hand ice cream churn that gets used almost every summer. (These things are not cheap these days!) Needless to say, its showing its years so I put a fresh coast of outdoor stain/sealer on it this year to improve its appearance. While doing this I noticed that the 3 steel rings that go around the bucket to hold it together were getting pretty rusty and I had no clue how to replace them, so I went with plan "B", and it works just great. Plan "B" was installing 3 large hose clamps made from the Breeze Make-A-Clamp System in the vicinity of the rings to reinforce them. There was sufficient material in one kit to do this, and being that the banding material and clamps are made of stainless steel, they should last for many years.
