Bright, fun colors. Has a good weight to the paddles. The balls have good bounce and are also brightly colored. The bag makes them easy to carry and store.Would make a great gift and won't break the bank.

My Wife and I play pickleball with our Daughter, and this happened to be one of several birthday gifts that we got for her. She likes the tie-dye pattern. And it's much more welcoming than the typical boring colors of the more "pro" models of pickleball paddles that you'll come across. Adds a lot more personality to your set. But if there's one recommendation that I have, here's what it would be: order more balls in advance. If you're ordering this as a gift for someone, get an additional set of balls. If you're buying it for your own house, get an extra set of balls. They're fairly inexpensive, but you'll be glad that you made the small investment. Because for us, it's inevitable that balls get misplaced. Sometimes our Daughter has them and forgets where she puts them. Sometimes one of the dogs get hold of one, and it becomes a makeshift chew toy. Point is, it's better to have extras and not need them, than to need them and not have them. Especially when you live in the country like we do, and you simply can't find replacement balls at the nearby dollar stores. Overall rating is good for this set, though.

What was good:• The paddles are made of a thick wood type material that I believe will be durable for lots of use by two young boys. The grips are wrapped with a thick grip wrap. There is a wrist loop built into the handle end of each.• The balls are thicker plastic than other “whiffle” balls that I’ve seen.• Colorful design: the boys (ages 8 and 6) like the tie-dye design. It is a sharp photo-like print. The edges are painted in a near-white color rather than being left unfinished as I have sometimes seen.• Good quality items. Frankly, I had low expectations when I ordered, since it is made for kids.So, what’s so-so or not good:• Note: this is 2 paddles and 2 balls. There is no net, which you will need to provide separately, as suitable for your situation. To start, we are using a small box(es) as a marker for where the net would be.• A basic mesh carry bag is provided. It’s nice but doesn’t offer much protection for the paddles. If dropped, the paddles will get dinged a bit.• The included paper is just an overview. For how to actually play the game you will need to check online web sites.This is a very good beginners Pickle Ball set for kids, if you don’t need the net or buy one separately.This review is for the “Make It Real 3C4G - Tie Dye 2 Person Pickleball Set…” product.

I didn't realize that this pickleball set was already colored, it almost made it seem like it was something that could be created by the children. Hence the name, "Make It Real", but that is my fault and I should have read the listing details correctly. Regardless, it's a nice little beginner set for my girls. They are 12 and 9 and really enjoy this set. The paddles are durable and the balls are just your basic pickleball. Might need to be replaced in time, especially if there is a lot of use out of it. You get two pickleballs, two paddles and a storage bag to keep the set in after using it. This is a 2 person set, it says contains 6 pieces, but the 6th item is just an instruction booklet. It's pretty much just a 5 piece set. I feel like you're paying extra for the design and also the brand name. Is it worth the current price of $29? Hard to say, you can probably find a pickleball set that is better quality for less, but my kids enjoy the tie dye design. It makes them feel special to have something just for them, that isn't just a basic set and that's worth it to me.

This is a really cute beginner Pickleball set for for kids. First of all, let's talk about the colors! The summer tie dye colors are perfect for kids. They are bright and fun! My granddaughter was so excited when I showed them to her. The set comes with two balls and a mesh drawstring bag. This helps keep the set together. The price makes this a perfect starter set. Pickleball is a great activity so it is perfect for multi-generational activity. We don't currently have a net, but we enjoy hitting the ball back and forth in the driveway. I highly recommend this fun set.

The only reason that I am at least giving this 2 starts is because the set comes with 2 great balls, and a cheap mesh bag that has a cute smiley face on it. The plastic that the balls are made of is a teeny teeny tiny hint of a rubber feel, and I like the quality of the bounce that seems to give it over the standard harder plastic ball material.THE PADDLES? No no no no no! Not for kids or humans who want to have fun while they play pickleball. The listing doesn't reveal what the paddles are made of, but I assumed they would be appropriately lightweight for kids...NOPE. These paddles are smaller than mine, but they are heavier! Looks to be a dense plywood when I look along the sides. And, the surfaces seem to be spray painted, with the tie-dye design being a digital dye/paint. The weight of these paddles are inappropriate for young kids (who are the target audience) because of the heft of these paddles. I don't understand why they wouldn't have used even a cheap polypropylene to create something that is the correct weight for kids to swing. Kids would be better off with larger adult paddles than to use these, as ours will continue to do rather than use these anymore.THE GRIPS - Terrible. The grips are wrapped with a cheap, sticky rubber wrap that will absorb up hand dirt quickly and got from cute, bright blue to gungy and dirty. Not a good match with the tie-dye color scheme.
