the image doesnt reflect what i got.. i found out the hard way but needed the bit i got as well.. make sure you read the description box as well.

Multiple complaints are correct. This is pictured as a mortising bit 1/4 inch deep. It is a full inch cutting depth.When folks complain descriptions should change. I'm returning. Not as described.

I needed the bit shown which is only 1/2" (depth of cut) by 1/2" (diameter of cut).... I use these for self-made jigs out of 1/2" material... the one they sent me is a full 1" (depth of cut). again not what was claimed in the details/picture/posting

While a very good quality router bit, it is totally disimilar to the picture. The bit that came cuts a full 1" deep. I needed the one as pictured, which looks like one you'd use for hinge mortising, and as you can see, it is not the same.
